  • 'Other' Accessibility Features In iOs 16
We talk a lot on the show about the accessibility features built into operating systems such as iOS, Android, PC and Mac, however, we often focus on the vision-related features.
Today on the podcast, Steven and Shaun learn more about the other accessibility features for people out there with different disabilities such as Colin Hughes, who has muscular dystrophy and struggles to physically use his devices.
He talks to Steven about the features he has found most useful, including one in particular that brought him to tears when he learned of its existence. He also talks about his frustrations with Voice Control on the Mac.

  • Windows Updates & A Lot Of Complaining
Today on the show, Steven and Shaun vent their frustrations at trying to keep their Windows devices up to date. You'd think it was easy, right?
Also, they discuss the reason they've been trying to make sure they have the latest updates as a big update has just been dropped from Microsoft on Tuesday, Sept. 20. It includes various new features in accessibility, including new voices for Narrator - the built-in screen reader - as well as updates for Voice Access (which is still in preview), and system-wide live captioning which is great for those with low or no hearing.
