Sometimes the biggest obstacle to what God wants to do in your life is you. In "Get Out of the Way," Derrick Douglas walks through Mark 5, where Jesus keeps walking toward Jairus's house even after everyone says it's too late, and clears the room of doubters before raising his daughter. Removing the pride, fear, and past hurts that keep us from fully experiencing what God wants to do in our lives.
Scripture: Mark 5:37-43

God had to break Israel's slave mentality before leading them out. In "Breaking Chains," Derrick Douglas walks through Exodus 3, where God meets Moses at the burning bush and reveals Himself as I AM. Freedom starts with forgiveness, God is still God in whatever you're going through, and a changed life is the strongest witness.
Scripture: Exodus 3:1-14 (also John 8:56-58)

Week 4, the final week, of the sermon series "Yes²": when God's yes and my yes come together, they unlock unimaginable blessings.
We want the blessing, but we don't want to go through what it takes to get the blessing. In "The Blessing on the Other Side of Yes," Derrick Douglas walks through Genesis 22, where Abraham climbs Mount Moriah with Isaac and finds the ram already waiting. Yes requires trust, yes attracts provision, and yes multiplies legacy. God doesn't provide before obedience; He provides through obedience. If God told you to climb the mountain, He has already placed provision at the top.
Scripture: Genesis 22:1-18 (also 2 Kings 4)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where have I been holding back a yes because I'm unsure of the outcome? Then act: take one bold action of obedience this week, even if it stretches your comfort.

Week 3 of the sermon series "Yes²": when God's yes and my yes come together, they unlock unimaginable blessings.
If the formula is so simple, why is it so hard to live out? Because of the struggle between my yes and my flesh. In "The Struggle Between My Yes and My Flesh," Derrick Douglas walks through Matthew 26:36-46: Jesus in Gethsemane, the place where olives are pressed. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. God isn't asking you to be strong; He's asking you to surrender. In our own Gethsemane, the place of pressure where the flesh speaks loudly, the spirit decides: not my will, but Yours.
Scripture: Matthew 26:36-46 (also Galatians 6:9)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where is my flesh resisting what God is asking me to do? Then act: choose one area this week where you will surrender instead of resist.

Week 2 of the sermon series "Yes²": when God's yes and my yes come together, they unlock unimaginable blessings.
God has already said yes. The only question is: will you agree? In "My Yes Unlocks God's Promise," Derrick Douglas walks through Luke 1:26-38, where Mary answers the angel Gabriel, "I am the Lord's servant." Your yes requires surrender, your yes requires faith, and your yes releases power, just like at the wedding in Cana when Mary told the servants, "Do whatever He tells you." Mary didn't know everything God would do, but her yes unlocked God's promise.
Scripture: Luke 1:26-38 (also John 2:1-11)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where is God calling me to trust Him beyond what I can see? Then act: take one bold step of obedience this week.

Week 1 of the sermon series "Yes²": when God's yes and my yes come together, they unlock unimaginable blessings.
We're always trying to convince God of what our plans should be, but God's yes was spoken before you were ever born. In "God's Yes Is Already Spoken," Derrick Douglas walks through 2 Corinthians 1:18-22: God's yes is eternal, God's yes is faithful, and God's yes is sealed by the Holy Spirit. His yes isn't a reward for your obedience. Obedience is your response to His yes.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:18-22 (also Jeremiah 1:5)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where have I been doubting God's yes in my life? Then act: write down one promise of God and declare it over your life every day this week.

Week 5, the final week, of the sermon series "God's Crossover."
Many believers celebrate what God has delivered them from but never possess what God has promised them. In "Cross Over and Possess It," Derrick Douglas walks through Joshua 1:1-9 as a new generation stands at the Jordan River. Crossing over requires courage, and courage isn't the absence of fear. It's moving in the face of fear. Ten spies saw giants; two saw God. Be strong and courageous, pursue God's promises, leave memorials for the next generation, celebrate every crossover, and help others cross over too.
Scripture: Joshua 1:1-9 (also Matthew 6:33)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: what promise from God have I been standing beside instead of stepping into by faith? Then act: take one courageous step this week toward the purpose God has placed before you.

Week 4 of the sermon series "God's Crossover."
On Friday afternoon, Satan thought he had won. The tomb was sealed and the stone was rolled into place, but God was preparing the greatest comeback in history. In "The Ultimate Crossover," Derrick Douglas walks through Luke 23, from the two criminals beside Jesus to the empty tomb. The same God who crossed Israel through the Red Sea, crossed Jacob's hands over Ephraim, and crossed Paul's plans to Macedonia crossed us from death to life and from fear into hope. When life feels like Friday, remember: Sunday is coming.
Scripture: Luke 23:32-43 (through Luke 24:12)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: what area of my life feels like Friday right now, and how does the resurrection remind me that God is still working? Then act: share the hope of Christ's resurrection with one person this week by telling them how Jesus has brought life, hope and victory into your own story.

Week 3 of the sermon series "God's Crossover."
We love it when God says yes, but when He says no, we get frustrated because He's messing up our plan. In "The Divine Detour," Derrick Douglas walks through Acts 16:6-10, where the Holy Spirit closes the door to Asia and Paul's vision of Macedonia carries the gospel into Europe for the first time. Closed doors are often God's protection, His "no" is an expression of His love, and your detour may become someone else's deliverance. Paul's vision was good. God's vision was greater. Don't despise the detour.
Scripture: Acts 16:6-10
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: what closed doors or unexpected detours have I been viewing as a disappointment instead of possible divine direction? Then act: stop asking God to reopen closed doors. Instead, ask Him to reveal the new direction He wants you to pursue, and take one step of obedience toward it.

Week 2 of the sermon series "God's Crossover."
God doesn't just change direction. He changes the outcome of the play. In "The Crossover Blessing," Derrick Douglas walks through Genesis 48, where Jacob crosses his hands and gives the firstborn's blessing to Ephraim instead of Manasseh. God's choices are based on purpose, not position; His decisions are always intentional; and His crossover creates room for your destiny. So stop trying to uncross God's hands. The greatest blessing in your life may come because He crossed them.
Scripture: Genesis 48:13-20 (also Jeremiah 1:5, 2 Kings 5)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where have I been resisting God's direction because it didn't match my expectation? Then act: surrender one plan, timeline or expectation to God this week, trusting that His purpose is greater than your preference.
