Week 1 of the sermon series "God's Crossover."
Sometimes the greatest move is the one you never see coming. In basketball, the crossover changes direction to beat the defender, and sometimes God changes our direction before He changes our destination. In "When God Changes Your Direction," Derrick Douglas walks through Exodus 14: Israel trapped between the mountains and the Red Sea, Pharaoh's army closing in, and a God who makes a way where there is no way. God's direction doesn't always make sense, but His crossover is never meant to harm you. It's meant to position you.
Scripture: Exodus 14:10-31 (also Isaiah 55:8-9)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: where in my life am I resisting God's change in direction because I don't understand His plan? Then act: identify one area this week where you will obey God immediately instead of waiting for complete understanding.

Week 2 of the sermon series "Core: Built Different."
God doesn't want weekend visits. He wants to dwell with you daily. In "Intimacy: Sitting With God," Derrick Douglas walks through John 15 ("I am the vine; you are the branches") and the story of Mary and Martha to show what real intimacy with God takes: slowing down, a place, your attention, honest conversation, and listening. Sit with God long enough and things will change.
Scripture: John 15:1-6 (also Luke 10:39, Psalm 46:10, Psalm 34:8, Matthew 11:28)
Speaker: Derrick Douglas
Weekly challenge: Reflect: what is currently receiving the time and attention I say I don't have for God? Then act: establish your sitting place this week, with at least 15 intentional minutes each day and no phones, television or distractions.

Week 4 of the series The Seed Never Dies.
The greatest evidence of a fruitful life isn't merely what God does for you. It's what God produces through you. Walking through Psalm 126:5-6, Derrick K. Douglas asks: what are you planting that will keep growing after you're gone?
Scripture: Psalm 126:5-6 (also John 4:37-38; 1 Corinthians 3:6-7; Genesis 12:2; John 12:24)

Week 3 of the series The Seed Never Dies.
We plant, we water, and then we walk away, and nothing seems to happen. Walking through Mark 4:26-29, Derrick K. Douglas reminds us: never confuse invisibility with inactivity. God is growing roots before results, in His order and in His time.
Scripture: Mark 4:26-29 (also Philippians 1:6; Galatians 6:9)

Week 2 of the series The Seed Never Dies, preached on His Way's 23rd anniversary.
We ask God to multiply our ministry, our marriage, our finances, and our influence, but are we willing to surrender? Walking through Galatians 2:20 and Luke 9:23-24, Derrick K. Douglas shows that a seed has to break before it can grow, and whatever dies in Christ doesn't end in death. When self dies, Christ multiplies.
Scripture: Galatians 2:20; Luke 9:23-24

Week 1 of the series The Seed Never Dies.
Your dreams, your marriage, your ministry, your confidence: some things in life feel buried. But there's a difference between buried and planted. Walking through John 12:20-26, Derrick K. Douglas shows that what God plants in the dark isn't finished. The seed has to leave your hand, the shell has to break, and God multiplies what we surrender.
Scripture: John 12:20-26
