In this episode of Down to the Beat we stick to our segment "Let's Talk" and don't stray very far from it. After that we move into a discussion about saving money in rap music compared to flexing your belongings. We then cap off the episode with some talk about how Nardwuar puts our brains through a loop, just as he does every artist he has on his show as a guest. 

We start off this episode of Down to the Beat with a  conversation about Logic's announcement that he is retiring and wether or not he will stay out of the limelight. We then talk about some of our favourite actors and show some love to the movie world. We cap off "Let's Talk" with a conversation about rap anthems. We finish the episode off with our segment "Homegrown Hits" where we talk about Che's newest EP "The Last Flow Bender" and Ngola's latest project "Rockets, Power, Love". 

This week's episode of DTTB is kicked off with a bold prediction about the future of IG live after quarantine ends and normal life starts to resume. We then move into a conversation about Kanye, his current mental state and vision. We then cap it off with a conversation about old heads and their place in the hip hop world.

We then cap off the "Let's Talk" segment with a conversation about rappers and their roles in movies and some the most iconic crossovers between film and music. The episode is finished with our segment "Behind the Beat" where we tell you about some songs with great production that you need in your daily rotation. 

This week's episode of DTTB is kicked off with our segment "What's Up" where we talk about what we're expecting from Pop Smoke's upcoming posthumously released album. We then move into "Let's Talk" where we discuss Virgil Abloh's album cover for Pop's album and then into him as a creative entity as a whole. We then cap off the episode with a review of Kanye's new track and music video for "Wash Us In The Blood" as well as Ty Dolls $ign's new song "Ego Death" which features Kanye, Fka Twigs and Skrillex. 

This week we kick things off with a Hot Take, which isn't coming froom our mouths, but one that the Migos have claimed. Then we talk about the types of music we're off and what we're currently on, followed by a discussion of dream tours such as the Yeezus Tour, Rolling Stones American Tour in '69 and more

This episode of Down to the Beat is kicked off with a little criticism of Quentin Tarantino's recent claims of The Social Network being the best movie of the 2010's and why that is too bold of a claim to make. We then talk about our favourite rapper and producer duos and dive into the relationships between the two streams of artists. We then cap it off with a review of the Flatbush Zombies newest album "now, more than ever" and RMR's new album "DRUG DEALING IS A LOST ART". Enjoy!
