Down To Watch

Dan and Raul are back with an in-depth look at the upcoming month of TV and movies premiering very soon.  TV shows covered include, Your Honor (Showtime), Earth at Night in Color (AppleTV+), The Hardy Boys (Hulu), and The Stand (CBS All-Access).  Two new movies that look interesting and coming to Netflix are, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (Chadwick Bozeman in his final performance), and the George Clooney-directed, The Midnight Sky.  It's not the biggest month for TV in terms of potential quality, but there is a ton of stuff coming out that everyone surely can find something fun to watch!

Dan and Raul start by discussing a new HBO Max show by way of the UK, called "Two Weeks to Live", and starring Maisie Williams (Aria Stark from Game of Thrones) in this fish-out-of-water action/comedy with a heart.  Also, the essential 80's series continues with a discussion on the career of David Cronenberg and more specifically a focus on his culturally-impactful film, Scanners (1981).

Dan and Raul report on what they find interesting to watch this month, some of which includes Moonbase 8 (Showtime), B Positive (CBS), A Teacher (Hulu), The Liberator (Netflix), The Crown (Season 4, Netflix), and Small Axe (a collection of 5 films, Amazon) just to name a few!  Get into it and find out what else is arriving this month!

Dan and Raul are back again to dive into the new season of The Boys (Amazon Prime), which is somewhat lackluster although very enjoyable on the whole.  The guys get into the many issues they had with character motivations and plot holes the size of Rhode Island that are sprinkled throughout, but overall the series is recommended to all.  Being a very popular show critically and commercially, it's easy to see why tons and tons have found this show to be highly engaging and satisfying!
