Down To Watch

Getting fellated at knife point doesn't quite sit well for Dan, Matt, Michael, and Tak, among other things they found deeply disturbing in David Lynch's Blue Velvet. If you're a Lynch fan, you may get your feelings hurt from things said by half of this episode's crew. So, proceed with caution and maybe your mystery gas. Now let's hit the f*ckin road, f*ckers!

20 years later and we're still not sure if the moral of the story "Its ok to date your underage step-sister" but while we try to figure this out we learn that no matter what it was still a great movie. Tak, Mike F and Michel sit down and talk about a classic that shaped our teen years.

Sex, drugs, and shit-encrusted toilets; in this episode, we catch up on the druggie comedy drama Trainspotting. Mike F and Matty sort've steal the show in this one as they project their Danny Boyle fanboyness over Michael, who half-remembers the title to his favorite Bollywood film. Also, we apologize not-apologize to the British for our distasteful comments on the traditional British breakfast.

Gays, dicks, and incest? Sounds like we've packed a lot in this jar-- PEENO NOIR!! Tak, Mike F, Michael, and Jonnie gather up to rave about the hysterical Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, DTW's second TV special! Laugh so hard you'll be seeing rainbow stars-- PEENO NOIR!

Masrani: "Remember why this place was made, Claire. Jurassic World exists to show us how very small we are. Very new. You can't put a price on that." This week we discuss the year's biggest blockbuster, JURASSIC WORLD! Dan, Michael, and Tak get nostalgic, debate the film's alleged anti-feminist themes; and with his penchant for action and comedic flare, is Chris Pratt this generation's Bruce Willis? Also, one of the guys unearths a nerdy side to his childhood.

This week, Mike F, Tak, and Michel discuss Big Trouble In Little China. Tak reveals his dorky side while Michel reminisces growing up watching Chinese dramas, and the guys all break down their favorite of "The Three Storms."

What's with classic kids movies and the thematic element of gnarly projectile vomiting? Listen as we break down other wild topics from this 80's childhood gem such as: how Dan and Tak agree that Superman was a real person; why Michael would leave you to die on the tracks with a train coming; and how Mikey suggests there's something a bit funny about the very close bond between the two main characters.

Max Rockatansky: "You know, hope is a mistake. If you can't fix what's broken, you'll, uh... you'll go insane." I am the one... who touches the Sun... ON HIS WAY TO WALHALLA! WITNESS ME BLOOD BAG! Listen as Dan, Matt, and Mike F breakdown one of the best movies of the summer.

Is life always this hard, or is it just when you're a kid? Great question that Matt, Tak, & Michel never seem to answer. We sit down and talk about one of the best assassin movies ever and also one of the most disturbing adult child relationships ever seen. So if your like us and Stansfield get ready for the calm little moments before the storm. and maybe play some Beethoven in the background.

First we brought you newly released movies, then we brought you blasts from your past, now we're bringing you the TV shows worth checking out. Sit back and listen as Takaru, Matt, and Dan talk about the hit Netflix original series Daredevil....which should probably be called Batman (you know because he uses sonar). Either way the guys are hyped to talk about it.
