Down With Boring

Join Mez and Jake as they dive gracefully into the world of sports. Journalism so hard-hitting, it's like getting whacked in the face by a squash ball. But hopefully less painful.

On this week's show:

Wet Leg - Chaise Longue

Fontaines D.C. - Television Screens

The Goa Express - Second Time

Self Esteem - Prioritise Pleasure

IDLES - Damaged Goods

Viagra Boys - Sports

With their debut album 'It Won't Always Be Like This' out this week, current Dork cover stars Inhaler join us as part of a show filled with new music, including Sam Fender, Billie Eilish, Courtney Barnett, Dave, Declan McKenna and ‘more’.

With her debut album just announced, and a brand new single ‘Psycho’ just dropped, former Dork Hype List star Maisie Peters appears alongside a release of the week from Laura Mvula, and new music from Claire Rosinkranz, Ten Tonnes, Matt Maltese, Joan and ‘more’.

CMAT is quite frankly our nomination for the best new pop star on the planet – not only because we’ve managed to clock in a chat that goes on for a solid hour and fifteen minutes full of tangents and nonsense. She appears alongside a release of the week from Tyler, The Creator, and new music from Beabadoobee, Bastille, The Vaccines, Lazarus Kane and ‘more’.

With a new track, ‘Mercury & Me’, dropped as part of a recent Record Store Day release, long term Dork faves Everything Everything join us for a chat, alongside a release of the week from Griff, and new music from Tyler, The Creator, Wet Leg, FEET, Parcels and ‘more’.

With a brand new EP on the way, Ten Tonnes joins us for a long-overdue chat, alongside a release of the week from KennyHoopla, and new music from Lorde, Clairo, Bleachers, Walt Disco and ‘more’.

We all need a holiday, right? This month’s Mez’s Sunday Lunch is a summer holiday special. Kick back and take a break with Jake and Mez.
