please re-record this book by a professional

this book might have been a good book, except she was a rank amateur narrator. Remember hearing a story report by a freshman? This was on par with that experience, except you didn't pay for it. I eventually began to think this writer, this mother, this narrator was either too cheap to hire someone to do the reading, or has too big of an ego to let it go. Hopefully there is a nicer reason why she made the decision to force herself on us. It made a first book sound like a first book.

I am sorry I had to write this, but I think it's fair to let her know and any potential buyer. I wished I had bought the book and read it myself. I'm sure I'd have enjoyed it more.

The Mom Who Knew Too Much

The beginning of the book is about a boy who is believed to be the second coming of Lou Gehrig. As the book progresses it felt like it was about the boy's helicopter mother. Sprinkled with interesting information about Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth's Yankees, Little League Baseball, and the Gehrig Families the reader made the Boy's mother overbearing as everyone's "best friend"! Good beginning, bad conclusions. I would recommend reading not listening to the book! Sorry Nom!

Amazing!

When I read the description of this book, I couldn't help but want to read it. My daughter knew too much at the age of 2. She talked about her other mommy and daddy. This book makes me wish I had talked to her more about it. Crazy, strange, amazing things out of the mouths of babes.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!

By far the best book on the Tarot that I've heard/read yet. So insightful and inspiring. I've listened to 4 other Tarot books from Audible since I became interested in the topic a few months ago as well as reading many books but Elsabe's book brought the Tarot to life for me. Also, when I started drawing cards for myself, I was most often confused by the meanings because I was looking in the books. But when I listened to this audio book, everything suddenly made perfect sense.

The author's exotic accent lent a bit of mystery and fun to the experience.

A Must for All on the Path

This was so easy and concise especially if you are new to the path. Many other books can be daunting and difficult to understand but this is just what you need to know in a nutshell. I'm a long time practitioner (over 30 years) and I find this book a must for anyone no matter where they are on their path. I'm going to purchase other books from this author since I loved this one. You won't be disappointed!

Introduction to the Wiccan year

This book does a great job of explaining the deeper meanings and metaphors of the old celebrations to honor the changing seasons with some suggestions for rituals, and the author clearly explains the god/goddess cycle without being too heavy handed or insisting that you MUST believe in and/or worship these deities. I'm aware that Wicca vs "witchcraft" is defined by worship of the God and Goddess, I'm just not into that personally, and I wanted a book about connecting with the earth through appreciation of the changing seasons that wouldn't order me to worship specific deities. This is that book. I only wish it could have been longer and more detailed.

A definite buy

I feel more connected to my Irish and German roots. I didn't know a lot of the Sabbats and I'm excited to continue my faith. I feel stronger that I can worship the Goddess and the God after I left Christianity back in 2014. You are an amazing writer and teacher. I look forward to reading your book Herbal Spells. Would you consider the audio edition of Creative Use of Imagination to be better than the print version?

Its like the narrator steps into Goddard's shoes. He speaks with the life the words were originally spoken with as if reaching out to me with the voice of inspiration.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I have listened to a lot of Neville Goddard's books and lectures. This one spelled out his principles of using our own imagination as a God given power so clearly and brilliantly.

That would be very hard to say. Each chapter holds a gem.

The narrator's voice was mesmerizing as the author's words painted pictures of my own life in relation to each of the major arcana. Couldn't stop listening to it, it helped me discover aspects of myself as well as learn about the cards and their meanings.
