    Members Reviews:
This book is not worth even the small price.
The writing is so awful, I had to stop listening after 10 minutes. Breathless, overwrought adjectives put my teeth on edge. The make complete lack of detail and depth made me return the book for a refund. This reads like a C+ 7th grade homework assignment to write an "exciting" travel article after 10 minutes of research on Wikipedia.

Bread clips! Consider them for a moment, if you will. They're those flat pieces of semi-hard plastic formed into a sort of barbed U-shapeyou know the ones. They can be found keeping bread bags all over the world closed and safe from spoilage, smartly designed to be used and reused. They're all around us, constantly providing an amazing service, and yet still, they're taken for granted. And it turns out they're almost exclusively all produced by a single, family-owned company.

    Publisher's Summary:
The Victorians were experts in the art of mourning: They wore black for extended periods, wove human hair into elaborate wreaths, and wept, it is said, into delicate glass bottles called tear catchers. Victorian ephemera is hot these days, as is death, oddly enoughsee the rise of the #deathpositive movementso mourning artifacts are in high demand. Vintage tear catchers, also called lachrymatory bottles, can be found in online auctions and marketplaces, as well as through estate sales and antique stores. During the 19th century, and especially in America during and after the Civil War, supposedly, tear catchers were used as a measure of grieving time. Once the tears cried into them had evaporated, the mourning period was over. Its a good storytoo good. In truth, both science and history agree, theres really no such thing as a tear catcher. Caveat emptor.
