We will answer the second question by travelling over to Deuteronomy 8v18 for the answer. It says, "But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."

Part of that covenant is that through us all the nations of the earth will be blessed. Therefore the reason God gives financial wealth to the Believer, is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the Earth.

Does that mean the Believer should not have a nice house? No. What about a nice car? No. But when that Believer starts accumulating to consume on their uncontrolled appetites and therefore becomes stingy toward God; that person has missed the real purpose.

Pretty similar to all his other works

I have listened to all his books, some are life changing such as Alcohol Lied to Me. But this is a little weak. A massive topic, and a brave attempt. But I am afraid that this is more a collection of soundbites of the other books with a prologue largely stolen from other thinkers.

The God of Yes

As an owner at Central Christian Church in Henderson, Nv, I have the privilege of hearing Jud speak in person every weekend. As with his other books, "The God of Yes" reads with the same great, conversational approach as the messages he shares. It opened my eyes and mind and gave me insight into principles to which I had never before given credence, and a key tool to help understand God's "Yes" in our lives. It's a must-read!

Could not put it down

This book is a wonderful uplifting read of Gods goodness and forgiving grace. He knows we are sinners and because of His love for us we are pardoned and offered a place in Heaven with Him.

After reading "The God of Yes" you will want to give it everyone you know. It should be read once a year to remind us of the wonderful future we have in Him.

Amazing

This was an amazing book and along with the cd makes things clearer. God is a a God of yes and when he says no to us the yeses are that much more sweeter. I learned a lot from this book. Thank you Jud for writing it.

Good Christmas devotional

Overall, I liked the devotional. The writer was thoughtful and made some interesting points. As far as the writing goes, my only problems were 1) the day there was a story instead of a lesson, because the story was clearly going for a "no room at the inn" theme, but just came off as confusing and worrisome with the characters involved (no family, pregnant lady, or children, just a creepy ex-boyfriend). And 2) I was disappointed the devotional ended on Twelfth Night and didn't end at Epiphany, since it claimed to go all through Christmastide.

Regarding the production, the reader had a very nice, pleasant voice. However, it doesn't work with a devotional written by a man who makes references to participating in all-male events, and similar comments that don't match the reader. I don't understand why they didn't get a male reader, there are plenty of pleasant male readers out there.
