It was good my grandson like it!
THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ FOR ALL!!
Prolific and profound writer, motivational speaker and dynamic youth advocate, Dwayne Bryant gives a thought provoking account of his (7) encounters with the law that led to this timely blue print of how to navigate through the world we live in today. It is extremely relevant with what we are now witnessing first hand in America with the huge disconnect between Law Enforcement and our Communities.
It was an easy read that was thoughtfully written. I really loved how he addressed each group separately (Youth, Parents, and Law Enforcement) and gave each of them best practices/nuggets of wisdom. He exercised great prudence through his experiences and also shared intelligent "how to" knowledge (i.e. contesting a ticket). I also appreciated the Reflections after each encounter (what was done right and how it could have gone left).
I not so long ago found myself flipping through my mental rolodex replaying some of Mr Bryant's words of advice in his book, with my own encounter with the law (speeding violation). It honestly really helped me and may have even saved my life.
This book should be a household staple for young ppl, parents and teachers alike, to be informed and help open dialogue, as well as a recommended read for ALL students, drivers education curriculum and people in general. The key, as Mr. Bryant so keenly points out is to be greatly educated well before an encounter, so everyone walks away safely. I found it to be a powerfully brilliant MUST READ.
BRAVO Mr. Bryant... Thank you for your foresight, commitment and dedication!!!
