Yea i loved the story line extreme alpha male shifters because these guys are the light BDSM play/themes adds an interesting twist to the story and ups the heat some lol. If your into stiftes, BDSM, spanking, space travel then this book is the one your looking for it has them all lol

The streak is over...couldn't finish it :-(

What I absolutely loved about book one and book 2 in the series was nonexistent in book 3. Maybe it is because it didn't focus on Sophie and Lucian, I don't know but this book was so full of contrived drama I couldn't finish it!!!

To top the list we have a hidden marriage, baby mama drama because it's not your baby, hiding the truth from everyone you know, the girl you love doesn't even know your real name, and the girls ONLY demand is honesty....UGH! Oh and the narrator attempts an American accent and fails miserably!!!

Books 1 and 2 will forever be on my listen to again list because they were magic. As for book 3, I will pretend it was never published!

Sex Sex Sex

It seemed like every time I turned this trio on, another sex scene. I did like the fact that this third novel was focused on Sophie's friend. I will read this again.

Book 3 Syndrome

While I enjoyed the first 2 books about Lucian and Sophie, I just couldn't get into book 3. Maybe because I didn't really care for Dylan and maybe because the plot centered around opening another sex club.

Lucian & Sophie have a child now and seem to be happy (good for them) but I can't see how personally managing a sex club can a healthy environment for marriage and raising a family. Plus it took Lucian 5 years to propose to Sophie - what was he waiting for?

Willing Sacrifice is the sixth book in the Knights of the Board Room series by Joey W. Hill. I chose this book because it is out of my comfort zone. I like male domination stories not female domination stories. However, I was very surprised with this story. While this is this is part of a series it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.

Janet has a nickname of Ice Queen. She has been hurt in ways while on one hand is realistic but on the other hand is hard to believe someone would do that to another. She is a wonderful combination hard and soft. Max really makes this story. While Max is no sub, not now nor in the future will he ever be. He seems to enjoy Janet meeting her needs and indulging him with his after.

The chemistry between Janet and Max is explosive. The sex between Janet and Max is off the charts. I enjoyed the compromise Janet and Max came to so they could be together. I enjoyed that Janet respected Max, his needs and met her own needs as well.

The complaint i have is that I didn't like G. C. VonCloudts voice for Max. This really did interfere with the story for me as I just couldn't picture such a strong man like Max with the voice she used for him. He should of had a lower and more powerful tone. Her voice for Max and the picture in my head Clashed,- big time....

THEY MAY HAVE BEEN WILLING.. I WAS TEMPTED TO STOP

I must admit that this was well written.... however it just didn't work for me. I like the Alpha Heroes in a story to remain Alpha but in this book Max the ex Navy SEAL was constantly chasing and adapting for Janet the Heroine who was a very dominant dislikeable Dom. Both characters had a terrible event in their pasts which still haunts them today and was partly to blame for the Janet's personality but Max was thoughtful, sensitive and loving.

However, I didn't feel any romance until the very end but rather lots of very hot BDSM sex which, in parts, went way way over the top for me and without the romance it was just brutal and raw and I eventually skipped over some sex scenes. There was a bit of tension and excitement at the end but it was all too late by then.

Worth a credit? This is book 6 in The Knights Of The Boardroom series and, although it could be a stand-alone listen, it does contain all the couples and characters from those previous books which aren't (as I write this review) yet available on Audible. The narrator was ok but the total lack of mutual romance compared to the overload of some hardcore and shocking sex made me regret purchasing this.....

If you liked the first one you will like the 2cnd

This is book 2 of 2, in book one we have laney who needed money for her mothers heart transplant, the only thing she had of value to people with that kind of money was her virginity. So, story number one was Laney and Noah getting to know each other and falling in love. Book 2 picks up where book 1 left off, Noah has decided he can't handle keeping Laney to their deal now that he knows why she did it. So he does the noble thing a lets her go..,.too bad she didn't WANT to be let go! Same weird names for things/anotomically incorrect phrases. The wonder Pien, is back as are the other crass words. Serious readers need not bother, it's just a fun book.

This book had many opportunities for contrived drama and it didn't take any of them, so well done there! The complaint I have is too many detailed "scenes", usually that is a plus for me but there were WAY too many! I have to say my recommendation is stop with 55 minutes left to go. After Noah gives laney the gift just shut it off, it will leave you with a better leaving feeling.

If you've been reading this genre, post Fifty Shades, you know there is a lot of copy-cat protagonists that don't know who they really are and find themselves only by being pushed beyond their limits by irresistible, insatiable counterparts. This series shows there is a big difference between losing control and giving control. Lainie knows what she's doing and never takes on the role of a victim. This is a young couple who does not exchange their youthful effervescence for their attraction to each other, they use it to make their relationship more intense. Much credit to the writer as she presents a refreshing take on what is becoming a much played out genre. The narration from the male and female POV puts you in the head of both Lainie and Noah. She also introduces supporting characters who are interesting in their own right and and certainly sequel worthy. The narration is on point. Rubyy and Rockwell are marvelous choices for these youthful characters. Bravo.

Repetitive, predictable, eye rolling bad!

I liked the other stories about "The house", but this one was horrible! This whole book could have been summed up in about an hour. The editor really screwed up on this one. All the sentiments were on target but when you hear the SAME sentence for the tenth time, and can predict that it is about to be used AGAIN...well it makes you want to stop listening.

Joss was married to Carson...for how long we don't know because that detail wasn't said even once, but he has been dead for 3 years. Dash was Carson's business partner and best friend, and in love with Joss. He never made a move, no cheating or love triangle here, but after 3 years if mourning Joss appears to be ready to date again and Dash wants it to be him.

Sounds like a good premise but it really wasn't, like I said it was SOOOO repetitive that it made me want to shut it off. Don't buy it, not on sale, not as a freebie, just don't bother!

"Letting Go" is correct.

I generally enjoy Ms. Banks' writing, especially her "Colter's Legacy" series. I'm disappointed in in this effort. The characters natter on and on about their angst over the death of the husband. That's really boring. The narrator doesn't help. She has a very nasally voice and when a word ends in the letter P, it ends up having an F sound added in. This book just doesn't live up to her outstanding reputation.

Ugg!! Another good story but HORRIBLE narrative!!!

A wasted credit

The narrator is probably better suited to children's novels. She has a gravely almost grandma voice. It just put me right out of the mood to hear her talk sexy. The plot was worse, though. I stopped listening to it half way through it and I am not in the least tempted to pick it back up. It sounds like a divorced woman's wet dream the entire way through. A man bringing guilt free pleasure to an unhappy wife pretty much sums it up. He helps here explore her sexuality after a life with a bland cheating husband, the story was predictable, the character depth was attempted but not really there, and the sex parts rival penthouse.

Just Didn't Do It For Me.

I found it difficult to connect with these characters which led to be not really caring for them or the outcome. I pushed through, seeking some redemptive qualities, but it just didn't do it for me.

There are three books in this series so far, the first 2 seem to be about the same people, Sophie and Lucien, and Audible has all 3! If you go to goodreads they have over 14 THOUSAND reviews and this book still has over 4 stars

Let me just say this book was AMAZINGLY good! We sometimes forget that erotica isn't suppose to be just about the actual acts...it's a state of mind, it is a seduction of the brain as much as the body and boy does this book deliver on every front!

Ben Weaver, the main character, was very funny, and the writing was superb. It was a little odd to have a woman narrate a man's story, but, that being said, it was well-done. I'm new to audiobooks so maybe this is a common thing.

A well-written story which appears to truly convey the inner workings of a man's mind when he's in love and wants to stay in love.

I've read Fifty Shades of Grey which is why this story was so dang funny! The MC's bumbling attempts to become the next Christian Grey were hysterically funny. I loved every minute of this book!

She is one of the best narrators I've listened to in a long time.

I love all of Riley Ford's books, and this short story was no exception. It's top quality and was a hilarious adventure.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters! I mean, poor Ben, he was really just a mess. Being Dominant is SO not his calling. I enjoyed the playful approach to the story and how it made a satire out of people who think BDSM is just something you DO. Nope, it's who you are, and Ben is NOT the guy for this role. Which is what makes it so damn hilarious!

I haven't listened to Gillian Vance outside of the books she has done for Riley, but she does a good job.

Loved Taking Karre!

Loved Taking Karre! Karre is a thief in many dimensions when she is caught and sent off to an out of the way plane that expects her to be a bride. While Karre bides her time and tries to figure out who she really is and what she really wants, she falls more in love with Vidar.

Sir Vidar claims her since the king has insisted that it is his duty to take one of the women as his bride. He knows that he has been played almost right away. In typical warrior style, Vidar doesnt treat Karre like a valued treasure and he doesnt know how to say the right things. Vidar even leaves her to go back to war.

There is no problem with the physical attraction between Karre and Vidar. They have lots of steamy sex. In the end Karre is taken away from Vidar and he finds that he is miserable and maybe he does love her. When Karre finds her way back to him, she gets him to understand that she needs to help with the war.

While this was part of a series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone. I really enjoyed Taking Karre.

Where does Taking Karre rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

This one might be the best divinity warrior book yet. Karre has her own way of getting by and that's not to make many waves unless she has to once stuck on the warrior planet she runs right into her future husband a warrior who has no plans to let her go. Miss pillow writes a great story as always and alot of mysterys are told in this book! I loved it

The fourth in Michelle M. Pillows Divinity Warriors series, Taking Karre introduces us to this heroine before the four women in the series meet. Karre is a survivor, and I was honestly not sure just who she was because of her use of other peoples memories and personas as she skipped from one dimension to the next. When she is captured by the Divinity Corporation and brought to Staria, she is thrown into the mix with the women we have met earlier in the series.

Vidar is another Starian warrior, and convinced that women are a convenience, not a necessity. Although he is expected to attend the breeding ceremony, his attention is really focused on protecting what is his; and a woman doesnt enter into that equation.

Too Rushed

This was a good short listen for when you need a break between heavier types of reading. Although I appreciated that it was a quick listen it still felt a little too rushed. The whole story was too thin with no real depth. We dont get to understand the motivation of the characters or form any connection to them. You just end up not caring about them as much as you should. Maybe the author was trying too hard to make this book like 50 Shades and Bared To You? There are many similarities (which I dont mind) but just didnt seem to work in such a short book. I cant say this was horrible but it wasnt great either.

A mix of FSOG and the Crossfire Series!

We get a mix of FSOG and the Crossfire Series... lots of intense sex, a light bondage/dominance, history of abuse, trust issues and that instant love connection. It wasn't the most original story and the main character is another 23 years old virgin who fell in instant lust with another super-controlling and uber-sexy billionaire. Of course, he wants to marry her from the instant she almost got run over by his car. There is real potential, I did like the story, even though its a story that's been told over & over. Katelyn & Adam both had been physically abused as children. Katelyn wore her scars all over her neck and face, but Adam wore his on his heart. The moment he layed eyes on Katelyn, he fell in love with her. He felt the overwhelming need to protect her when she was clearly capable of taking care of herself.
