I will not get the next book in the series. The concept / story was solid. The narrator was good, nice voice. The dialog was just Horrible. Imagine a nice college professor reading gay porn and that is close to how this audiobook sounds. The dialog was just way too cheesy and it seemed too much like a really bad soap opera.

Amateurish narration

Emily Foster, yes. Zoe McKay, no.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Annie a lot. Too many New Adult characters (especially heroines) are praised by other characters for being mature when there's no evidence in the text for it. She came across as realistically 22, but a solidly mature 22 who makes (mostly) good choices.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Zoe McKay?

Someone who could actually produce an upper-crust British accent. Charles' voice was all over the place, sometimes veering almost Cockney.

SHAME.. BUT SADLY IT JUST DIDN'T DO IT FOR ME

Rich girl Tamara was stuck in a life she didn't want - a life that was all planned out for her - even her forthcoming engagement to a man she didn't love... or even like very much but it was her penance for doing something awful and tragic years previously. Zee was a Mechanic and a Fighter in a rough low part of town because he too was running from guilty demons from his past. And, when these two opposites met, it wasn't romantic or poetic - no, it was lust and a chance to forget, for a brief while, what they were both mentally running from.

So the sex was raw, gritty and what they both needed to get the rage, frustration and memories out of their systems but, as most of the book went by, they began to learn the other's secrets and the truth that they were both caught in a trap with no way out. But the trap was about to be sprung when, after 10 years, the past was finally catching up with Zee and no matter which way he looked the outcome was bad... and just when he'd hit rock bottom he suddenly had an 'ah ha' moment that changed the course of his life and Tamara's too.

I had such high hopes for this dual POV book but sadly it never quite reached my expectations - I love a handsome Alpha bad boy and Zee was certainly that but I didn't feel any chemistry or burning connection between Zee and Tamara until the very end - which saved this from being returned to Audible. Each time they errr 'hooked up' anger flared between them and they both swore never again... a pattern that continued over and over again - along with " his silver molten eyes, his steely glaze, his sharp as steel looks, his piercing gray eyes" etc etc etc. It was 99.9% I don't want you and I don't want to want you and .1% oh hey yeah I actually do want you. Lots and lots of dirty talk followed by lots and lots carrying those words out.

TINY. LOVABLE. DEADLY. SHE IS A TINY LITTLE THING. LOVED HER SISTERS VERY MUCH AND ANYONE SHE LOVED WITH FIERCE DETERMINATION. VERY DEADLY WHEN SHE HAD TO BE, EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE TIME SHE IS SCARED.

Concept is great, female character not so much

I like confident women in these stories and situations. Kate, the main female is successful, stands strong for what she wants, a separation from her fathers dictative personality, turns into a whiny little girl most often than not.

This could have easily been a five because the overall story was great, but I just couldnt get past the whinning and indecisveness.

Disappointed

Thin on plot and the characters are just not believable. Emma Wilder did a good job on the narration, but it would have been nice if she had more to work with.

BDSM lite, informative, but fell flat

I'm undecided on if I would listen to The Agreement again. There were parts that I really enjoyed and found sizzling, but there were parts where the main characters behaviors were contradictory to the theme and plot direction that was set up.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked the information giving on BDSM culture. While some seemed unclear on if it was real life fact and at times was over explained, it all felt logical, and believable. There were some scenes that were very sexy and this played very much as a beginners guide or introductory to BDSM, which fit the plot set up for Kate the heroine of the story.

What does Emma Wilder bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I really enjoyed Emma's narration. I felt she brought life to the story. Her narration help me get through parts of the storyline that I am unsure I would have been able to get through if I had been reading the book instead.

I really enjoyed this book. I had some problems with the timeline within but i was able to get past it. This book makes you want the same type of love and the ending will leave you with a big smile.

Kiddie Porn

The first time caveman Hank noticed Aspen on a NYC street he started to fantasize about hitting her. Evidently Hank only saw women as objects to be used and abused, which made it totally unbelievable that he would risk his life to save a mere woman.

Aspen was presented as a 28 year old business woman but acted like a stupid teenager who just discovered boys. Aspen moved a total stranger into her home then allowed that stranger to manipulate, dominate and control her body.

Rather than a passionate, adult love story, Angel Falling sounded more like kiddie porn. Hank was the stereotypical jerk who didn't respectful or like women. In fact Hank was an alpha jerk who couldn't enjoy sex unless he was hurting his partner.

Listening as Hank treated Aspen like an inanimate object was gross and disturbing, not erotic or romantic. It was sad and pathetic that Aspen believed she deserved such degrading, violent treatment. I quit listening after 3 hours and will be returning this disappointing book.

I'm So Attached To These Guys!

I couldn't wait to read Oliver's story and I was absolutely delighted, not to mention, addicted to this series. Poor Oliver has a rough start with Micah but eventually they finally come together. There's inevitably some danger in store for them but Oliver is pretty tough in the face of danger. And Cecil is something else. Maverick seriously needs to give that dude a spanking because he is all kinds of mischievous. :) I enjoyed their quiet fun times and just love their whole family atmosphere. I like the structure of the story and it always seems to have me laughing out loud. I love it when an author can make me feel, well maybe not in the way of making me cry, but I don't mind being on the edge of my seat sometimes when problems occur (and I definitely was with this book). I loved this and now I'm on to the next book. :D

Love Love Love this series

I have been dying for Oliver & Micah's story. This one felt extra short and i didnt want it to end. I just love all the characters (especially Johnny cause he's just too cute) in these books. Loads of laughs and just the right balance between plot, character development, and "mating" ;-)

Although these books are a part of a series they can be read as a stand alone. Although some conversations and behaviors will make more sense if you read them in order. I edited this post because I just saw that book 5 is now available and just bought it and I'll be posting about it later.

I can't wait for more to become available. Looking forward to Jasper and Cody's stories the most.

I was happy that Oliver made it past his demons and into his mans arms about bloody time he is pretty fierce through he was Alost more wolf like than his mate.

sweet, interesting, love ably flawed

I love that this author has brought to light some really aweful situations in such an accepting way. How often do we forget that drug addicts and prostitutes and others at "bottom of the barrel" are often victims that didn't have many choices to get a better life? I love that the warriors and mates are willing to take each new trouble in stride, judging the individual for who they are and not by the stigmata of their fate.

I Didt't Like This One

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not it was not time well-spent. There was constant beatings throughout the book. Everything was centered around the fact that women and small children get spankings no beatings for the smallest infraction. When you take a belt and give an 18 year old girl 12 lashes across her backside that is not a spanking. The other incidents described were just as bad.

If youve listened to books by Maggie Ryan before, how does this one compare?

I don't remember listening to any of her books. Her narration was good in this one.

He does a good job in each listen I have heard.

Skilled author weaves a story that stirs emotion

I think both the writer and narrator did a wonderful job on this book. I was really pulled into the tale and loved this author's 'voice' as well as the narrators. Maggie's writing was absolutely wonderful and Logan's voice was expressive, passionate and distinctive in differentiating the characters.

Richard and Anna were wonderfully written multi-dimensional characters and I enjoyed the romance that the author weaved.

The only thing that caused me to give a four star rating was the fact that there was some inconsistency in Richard's personality as far as punishments went.

Keeps getting better!

The deeper in this series I get the more intense the club and the men become. The women, this time Blaze, are all special. Their lives have been hard yet even in a biker club their men make it better.

Tug, like all ravage men doesn't like to take no for an answer but they respect their women. He is there for Blaze and the shit storm that has followed her. The intensity is hot and the chemistry sweltering. I can't wait to start the next book.

My favorite in the series

I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of the series but I loved this Tug and Blaze's story. The characters are likable and I love that Ryan Michele doesn't write women to be Doormats. Tug is very sweet and caring as well, which is a big change from the typical biker Hero character.

I loved Christian Fox as a narrator. his voice was perfect. Will definitely be checking out more of his work.

Everything .. Have got this series in kindle have read them loving everyone of them & was so excited to get them on Audio & have loved listening to them , can't wait for the next, can't come soon enough.

This Author is her own writer.. She owns her own work, nothing compares.

They all were awesome loved everything.

I do not see how you can TOP this book !!!

It is by far one of the best that I have read or listened too! The voices matched the hot sexy faces that I imagened. They were not annnoying or to sad and dark. Almost perfect!

Another great story in this series

I love the Ravage MC. Every piece of the ride with them has been insane. I love fallen hard and loved every minute. Highly recommend. I save credits for these guys.
