The narrator was just not appealing in any way. I couldn't even get past the first chapter. I feel like the story would be a great one (I might just buy the print) if the narrator were different.

Some parts of the steamy scenes dragged a little and that is saying something from me who loves them.

Love or Lust at first sight!

I listen to this book and I didn't have a problem with the narrator he seemed mainly and rough. But he's playing a bad as construction cowboy and if his voice was softer than it wouldn't make since. Sometimes I think people are just haters. Of Course they fell in love quick and wanted a all in committed relationship at the first orgasm but who doesn't. If someone rocked my world than I wouldn't want him to leave either. Great story I hope they get a novella. Worth the listening credit.

Roy Wells.... just bad narration

I bet this could have been so much better...but Roy Well is just too gruff and boring. I just could make it past chapter 3. I gave up. Audible needs to do better in the m/m romance dept.

great story

I really appreciated the story plot to this short book. The background of the woman who used to dance but became a stage manager who always wanted this specific male ballerina was very detailed and well written. The only problem with the story was the length of time that she had to wait to be alone with Nickolai.

Excellent Read

This book was yet another excellent read written by Alex Anders. I did appreciate the backstory to the characters and I hope that their story is continued. I would have given the book 5 stars except that there are some grammatical issues that can change the way the story is read. If these are fixed, than the book would definitely be worth 5 stars in my book.

After contacting the author regarding the above mentioned issues, the issues were fixed and therefore I upgraded my star rating. After having reread some of the author's other books, I once again can only underscore how well written the book is and especially how versatile the author is in his subject matter.

A Slightly Rocky Start to What Promises to be an Intriguing Series

There's a lot of set-up in this story with lots of characters and explanations about this magical world that weigh the story down at first but it quickly becomes apparent how important each and every person and action is. Ms. Grace has created a unique world where sex is as important as breathing and beautifully balanced the steaminess with substance and leaves you wanting more....

I really liked it

It was slow at first and took me a bit to wrap my head around the story line. Overall, I liked the story of "sex magic."

Holy hotpants!

This book was steamy, did not think I would be into the whole "Ghostrider" thing but I was really, really wrong. This is one of the dirtiest ( in a good way) books I have ever read, it is not for the faint of heart. But if you are a paranormal erotica fan, I suggest you pick this up for a rainy afternoon.

Good Story

I liked the paranormal ghost aspect giving the plot a different twist. It wasn't one of those books I had to read in one sitting, but good just the same. I look forward to reading other books by this Author.

Bad Girl Trying to Be Good

Hendricks is literarynoir at its best. I remember discovering her first stories in the 90s and literally screaming in my bed as turned the penultimate page.

In this book we get a bad girl trying to clean up her life, but she falls in with the wrong--maybe the worst possible--man.

Everything I look for in a crime novel is here--bad girls, dangerous men, damaged heroes, mystery, and sex.

Great Book!!

Dark story , but very well written noir the Author is really good Will read her next book.

With grammatical errors, poor plot flow, and spelling issues, it's clear that this writer hasn't edited her own work, much less had someone else do so either. If the stories actually flowed I might be inclined to be more forgiving of the technical aspects, but when there's poor story and poor writing, it just means it's a time waster. It could have been a cool concept, but alas, it was not to be.

It was a fun audio book to listen to with lots of hot action in a compact book. I can't believe I Spent so little on it. Worth every penny!

Something Missing

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was erotica in language and such, which is what I wanted and expected. But I've had better. It was just so-so IMO. I'm not sure how to identify what it was missing. But it seemed to be missing something. It just somehow fell short. And the unfolding of the story and ending were implausible.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Make it more plausible at least.

Was April Showers worth the listening time?

Barely.
