This is a 5-star book for a particular person/situation: you need a few simple principles to remember, and act on. I've done a lot of successful presentations, and coached dozens of experts in sharing their findings. I wish I'd found this book years ago. I already knew almost everything in it. But what the author provides is focus, simplicity, and a constant focus on a thing that is hard for all of us: going int a presentation from the audience's point of view.

She has started with a perspective many communications types lack. That is, she is NOT about manipulating the audience. She has identified the few really crucial points, and connected them in a way that is easy to remember. And she's written it in a style that seems designed to help the stuff stick. It's not the most academically impressive or elegantly written book on this subject. But it's the one I would give to someone who wanted to improve a lot, right now, no matter what level they were starting from.

You will learn something from this easy-to-read book. Jock Talk offers great tools to be a good (and confident!) public speaker. Public speaking doesnât have to be scary. This a really quick and useful read! It reminds me of the One Minute Manager except for communicators and a little more polished. The added bonus was the easy to follow exercises at the end of the chapters, which really solidified the content for me. And I usually just ignore exercises. Anyway, the book has actually provided me with useful tools for public speaking. I think that is actually a pretty rare feat for these kinds of books.

A blank canvass to tell all...

This approach is really opened up a new idea how your business will boom. Started up from a blank canvass and eventually something very peculiar will happen. The author has explained everything really well and detailed. It shows some figures and lines how they started their blank canvass into a very productive one, and I believe each and everyone of us can do the same. This book is our guide to do so. I just want to mention that the book is a way longer to read because of the small font size used by the author, but very understandable and just fine. I really appreciate this Whiteboard guide. The chapter 10 I think is my favorite because it has all the unique ideas but other chapters are helpful too.
