He introduced the gold jacket into the NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Believe in yourself and try darn hard!

Bill's story is an inspiring account of a man who believed in himself and had the guts and determination to achieve fantastic success athletically and professionally in college football, the NFL and beyond and most importantly as a devout family man and in service to our country as an exemplary citizen. The author takes us along a winding history of the last 90 years through the lens of Bill's life tying the WW II era of sacrifice to the expansion of the country and the NFL in particular. Billâs principles, quiet leadership, love of God, family and country and his rare constant level of effort and humility shine through in his biography and should serve as a reminder to us all what real leadership is all about.

After a great career he gave back to his beloved state of Virginia in many ways.

You will be inspired by this great sports story. The greatest two way player in the history of the NFL. With 10,000 all purpose yards to his credit he set a standard for excellence that, to me is missing today. Written with clarity and first hand experience. The author is married to the daughter of Bullet Bill. I saw him play as a young lad when he was with the Washington Redskins against the Chicago Bears. I donât remember who won but Bullet Bill ran back kick offs,passed,caught passes and ran the ball. Was the first all American at the university of Virginia. Is in the college hall of fame and the NFL hall of fame. Buy the book you wonât regret it.

The real story of the man behind the persona

Confession upfront - I am a fan of Roadies and in particular Raghu, I like the show and his persona and if he is rude to some of the candidates then more often than not they deserve it, I respect him for the fact that he doesn't suffer fools gladly. I also think he's a canny operator because he knows what people want in a show and he gives it to them, it's no mean feat to make a successful reality show on a non GEC (general entertainment channel) with a shoestring budget and no 'stars' as either participants or judges. Given what he's achieved, the story behind the success is equally if not more gripping than anything that Roadies has to offer.

This is a bildungsroman, a story of how a skinny boy who was bullied all through his childhood turned into the piranha you see on TV. Raghu starts off his story with his childhood in Delhi and the incessant bullying in school which left him with a lifelong sympathy for the oppressed and marginalized that persists with him to this day. After a none too stellar academic non-career, the shy and softspoken young man started literally at the bottom of the food chain in the then liberalizing television industry, starting his career at Raghav Bahl's TV18. In some of the most inspirational parts of the book, Raghu recounts how he learnt the ropes of television production, editing and splicing tapes and the skills he built up there got him noticed and set the foundation of his success. The larger than life persona of Raghu spent the best part of 6 years completely behind the cameras, ideating, producing, editing before a series of coincidences saw him come in front of the cameras in Roadies 4. The bulk of the story then moves to the experience of producing 10 seasons of Roadies, the program that made his identity in every way. On the way, we get some fascinating glimpses into the inner workings of the television industry, the personalities - some wacky and some the same political, two-faced and backstabbing ones that you find in any office. Raghu takes us through the challenges he faced in steering the show in the direction he wanted.

Strong women leads successful career and family

I gave this a 3 star rating because I wasn't pleased or displeased with the summary. I don't follow Megyn Kelly, nor did I know much of her prior to reading this summary, so I feel like that puts me in a good positions to leave an unbiased review.

I have to give Megyn Kelly credit- she seems to value her family a lot which seems hard to do when you are in a position like hers. Despite her dedication to career advance. It's impossible to give all of yourself to all of the things you value in your life, but she seems to make time for the things that are priorities.

I felt like she is a pretty conservative individual who chose to set aside some of her more controversial views to appeal to more liberal individuals, perhaps for better ratings. She can appeal to her conservative fans, feminists, liberals (mainly those who support the feminist movement and those who do not support Trump), women who have been victims of sexual violence, etc. I also feel like the timing of this book was suspicious, only because a main topic discussed in the summary was her conflict with Trump. So I think many Trump supporters would read, even if only to discredit her. And many people who do not support Trump would want to read in order to paint a bigger picture of the conflict for themselves. I think that she likely used the timing to advance her book, which is not wrong. But it just seems dishonest to me.

I think it's really important to use a platform to reach people and do good. Megyn Kelly has a tremendous platform in the sense that she has the power to reach so many people through her career. I hope that her book could be an opportunity for women who have had similar struggles to be open and honest with their struggles and get the peace and closure they are seeking. I also hope that it could be an inspiration for all working moms. A little encouragement to help them see that they can have a career and family and be successful at both if they so choose.

This book is as narcissistic and as naive as his films.

I have known RGV thru his films and media for a very long time. RGV is like Joker from the movie The Dark Knight. He just does things.

Pretty much everything that I read in this book were known to me already from various other sources, as I used to be the biggest fan of his films. I still feel amused by his eccentricities but he is an extremely inwardly person who looks at the world only with his eyes, the way he wants it to be.

Therefore in this context, this book does not evoke any heightened feeling to general readers unless they have some kind of personal opinion about the author and his works.

Could have been more in depth about the man. Pretty much just a recap of each season, not too personal.

How Do You Make Larry Bird Boring?

This review comes from a man who loves basketball and loves the Larry Bird story. I gave up on this book half way through as it because it became a boring recitation of records, results, and stats.

You DEFINITELY got my attention!!!

I do not know much about Marilyn Monroe. In fact, in addition to knowing what she looks like, I only know that she was born as Norma Jeane, and that she was a model & actress. I wasn't born until after she was already gone, but even so, her beauty still shines today and it isn't uncommon to see her displayed in paintings, sculptures, and murals across the world. When I came across the short audiobook titled Interesting Stories and Facts about Marilyn Monroe's Death by J.D. Rockefeller, Narrated by Mike Norgaard, I knew immediately that I wanted to get it! After recently listening to an audiobook by the two of them, I was on the hunt for another one in which they worked together. I love this dynamic duo! J.D. Rockefeller's writing seems to match perfectly with Mike Norgaard's narration. Add Marilyn Monroe to the mix, and you have a winner!

This audiobook, at only about 25 minutes, was the perfect length for me to see if I wanted to learn more about Marilyn Monroe. Many of you are probably wondering why I wasted time with such a short book...well, I wanted to learn about her, but I really had no clue if these facts and stories about her would be interesting to me or not. The last thing I want to do is listen to a 10-hour audiobook about someone who doesn't interest me. And yes, I could have looked up online facts about her life and death, but I'm online enough when I'm working. Sometimes it nice to have all the research already done for you AND have the luxury of someone reading it to you. Ahhh...the life! Hahaha! Being that it is also under $3, you really can't go wrong. :-)

Well...I LOVED IT! Of course, now knowing this, I wish it had been longer! I had no idea that she was found dead at such a young age...so sad! The information presented really got me curious, so I took it to Google, even after saying I wasn't going to. Oopsie! Needless to say, I have spent the last few hours online reading articles, looking at pictures, reviewing documents and memorabilia...so much has happened since her death regarding her estate/personal belongings. I cannot believe how much information is out there. Seriously! When I looked her up, the most recent news on her was one day ago. ONE DAY AGO!! It was regarding the dress she wore when singing to President Kennedy. It is awesome that she still lives on in the hearts and minds of so many people! She has impacted so many lives and people love her.
