Great content, poor narrating.

Would you listen to Unleash Your Psychic Powers again? Why?

Yes, I have to listen to it several more times, because I could not follow the speed he was reading at.

What didnt you like about T. David Rutherfords performance?

He reads WAY too fast. Doesn't pause at the end of sentences, I was confused at times when a sentence had ended and a new one started.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have, but it was far too stressful with it being read so fast.

Unfortunately, this audio has great content and instructions, but my head was spinning when I was listening to it. There are exercises that he teaches, and he reads so fast, you can not absorb the last sentence and he is onto the next.

A very long book. Lost interest! Little Boring :(

Less talking and expalations and more practical and relaxation and hypnotic, A 5 hr audio book, just too long

Pauses in between sections, topics, and exercises would have made the book more useful. Really though this book is an exercise guide. One you would stop and put down often. I don't think audio is a good delivery method for the book.

It isn't a fiction novel. This question is inappropriate for the type of book.

Bait and Switch. Buyer Beware!

Ok, I gave this book two stars and not one star because it's not a total waste of time. First, let me say from the start that this is in no way way a critique on the author's experiences as he relates them in his book. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt when they bear their testimony. It is, however, a critique on the content not being what one assumes it will be. This is not a book about Medjugorje and the events surrounding it. Indeed, there's scarcely any background discussion of the events and miracles that occurred and are occurring at Medjugorje. There's no discussion about the children Divine Mother first spoke to and precious little of Divine Mothers works and words that occurred at Medjugorje. So, if you're thinking you're going to be listening to a book that goes into any detail of the events that occurred at Medjugorje, or the words spoken to the children, or the several miracles that occurred there you will be disappointed in this book.

What this book is is a recounting of the authors experiences and his conversion with Medjugorje used as a backdrop to tell his story. In addition, he uses up half the contents of the book playing his music that he says was inspired directly to him via personal revelation. It gets pretty bad, too. You'll likely get to the point where you'll go "aggggg!!!! NOT ANOTHER SONG!}. You'll really be frustrated if your mp3 player doesn't have a fast forward function on it. However, if you like Gospel music, this may not be an issue for you. As it is, this book could easily have been an abridged version of the book and not lose the basic story he's telling.

Basically, this book is the authors story of his conversion and his ongoing description of how he came about much of this work and his music by revelation by the Holy Ghost. And, as many who believe themselves to be tapped to do the Lords work, Morin goes out of his way to claim his imperfections and goes through a variant of the "I"m not worthy, I'm not worthy, I suck" mantra when trying to demonstrate a level of humility that isn't found in the book itself. I could go on, but, why beat a dead horse? If you can get by his insufferable pretense you might be able to hear the message he's trying to convey.

Now, I did say that this book isn't a total loss, and it's not. Any book that praises the Lord and elevates Divine Mother to her rightful place alongside Christ Jesus has something worthwhile about it. But, be warned, if you buy this book you're likely going to be disappointed.

What made the experience of listening to Living from the Heart the most enjoyable?

It's a wonderfully deep spiritual book that is easy to grasp the concepts given. This would be in my top 5 spiritual texts.

Strait forward

I like the fact that is so strait and honest. It's tell you the core of the human being. The store tell sound like a machine was telling, but it didn't matter the fact are great.

When I listen to it I feel peace and love. Great book, helps to understand our true mature better. All we need is just to practice this teaching.

Bought for a friend

I've had this book for several years and love it. I bought it for a friend who is having a spiritual journey.

It is more spiritual than traditionally religious. Not preachy and very insightful.

A perfect book for the bereaved.

Julia Cameron is one of a rare few who possess the gift of intuitive sensitivity, with which she communicates fluently and resourcefully those words a bereaved person desperately needs. Julia's Transitions is a perfect vehicle to provide that kind of comfort and inspiration. Moreover, it is a beautifully designed book of handy dimensions. I really do not know how it could be improved upon for the purpose.
