A wonderful account of one woman's experiences with Native American healing and ceremony. It was interesting to learn about the sweat lodge and fast ceremonies from someone who has learned directly from the medicine men. Her devotion to the craft and to the sacredness of the practices is very inspiring.

    Peace on earth
Pacem in Terris: Encyclical of Pope John XXIII on Establishing Universal Peace in Truth, Justice, Charity, and Liberty, by Pope John XXIII, narrated by Becky White
This is encyclical of Pope John XXIII, book interesting to everybody religious. The book is about peace vs. war, good, mankind, hope and peace. Common good between people would enable us to go forward. Moral order and the common good is needed, operate with fairness. Book talks also about mankind, politics, governments, science, moral order, and many other diverse themes are covered. This could be also useful to students of theology, people looking for more information or just interested in religion. The book is also suitable for non-religious people trying to understand people organizations and functions. It is 1 hour and 43 minutes long, which I found great to listen to the way to work and back or while doing something else.
I liked the narrator. Becky White did a great job with this book. She has a pleasant voice, which goes well with the book. Her speed, colour of voice and intonation were great.
I would recommend this book to religious people, theology students, anybody interested in religion.
"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

    Something Different
I found out more interesting information about angels and I knew nothing about horses before reading this book. I will never look at a horse or most animals the same again. They are all a God send. I really enjoyed reading this book and the wisdom I gain from it. This is a must read for everyone at the age of eighteen and above to enjoy life. I thank Sue for sharing her experiences. There are messages in this book. This book is very well written.
    Wow!
I read Expect The Extraordinary, turned the last page and simply said wow! Why? Because the words left me with so much to think about but more importantly I feel more open to messages I might have other wised missed if not for Sue Pighini. I'll be keeping this book close and know I will be returning it to many times over when in need of inspiration and guidance.
    What an extraordinary experience!
"I just read your book in one sitting. I indeed was gifted with an extraordinary experience. Thank you for writing it. I know it will help countless numbers.
I have read a gazillion books, so I sincerely appreciate and admire your distillation of profound truths in one approachable and enjoyable read, combined with the emotional human interest stories. As for your horse stories, I was truly touched by the depth of their intuitive intelligence and their compassion and patience for us mere humans.
Thank you for sharing yourself with the world."
    Very much enjoyed this!!
Love the stories about angels and was enlightened about horses. Learned something new.

    Publisher: MSAC Philosophy Group
Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 2 votes
Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
In this partially autobiographical book, Professor David Christopher Lane, PhD., a long-time skeptic of religion and the paranormal, explains why he meditates and why he believes it is extremely beneficial to human well-being. Includes a detailed section on how to meditate using an ancient technique called shabd yoga (listening to the inner sound) without resorting to mythological concepts or overlays.
    Members Reviews:
The Inner Sound is not of the Brain.
It's difficult to find good books on Meditation that deal with the path of the inner sound current, Surat Shubda Yoga....or Sant Mat, as it is known to the public. This author seems to have a great deal of experience with this method, but unfortunately, his California friends may have been influencing him more than the path itself. There is a pandering to Atheists and the bringing up of 3lbs of grey matter to the level of God. The inner sound does not arise from the brain at all. The author describes in detail the process whereby the consciousness is gradually withdrawn from the body and the inner sound of the deep Bell....which us Satsangis in this path listen for....but then he seems to indicate that once we find the right chemical combination in the brain, this can all be induced without Meditation....the materialists are alive and well in California, it appears, no matter what the path. This path is ancient and a form of it was taught by Jesus to his inner circle. Jesus called His disciple John, BOANERGIS...which means "Son of Thunder"...we who are on the path know that this refers to the sound of rolling thunder, a lot like the sound of a Kettle Drum....when the mind has finally entered the Tishra Till. I would encourage the Author, to read his own work, that was actually written by Sawan Sing...it is all there.

Title: Proverbs (The Old Testament 20)
    Author: N.N.
    Narrator: Christopher Glyn
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 1 hr and 59 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 08-31-17
    Publisher: SAGA Egmont
Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
The genre of Proverbs is mainly "Proverbs" as the name describes, there are also some Parables and Poetry. This book was written mainly by Solomon, the wisest king ever to rule, however some of the later sections are written by Lemuel and Agur.
It was written during Solomon's reign 970-930 B.C. He asked God for wisdom to rule God's nation and He granted the request. The main purpose of this book is to teach wisdom to God's people. Proverbs are short clever explanations, which are easy to remember. They contain truisms. These are things which are typically true however, not always. For example, "He who tills his land will have plenty of bread" (12:11), it is typically true that one who works his land will have bread but it is not a guarantee to always be true.
They deal with life, principles, good judgment, and perception. They often draw distinctions between a wise man and a foolish man with parable type examples.
Christopher Glyn became a Christian at the age of 21, giving up a promising theatrical career in the U.K. to engage in full time missionary work. In the 35 years since then, he has been very active in the field of Christian radio, primarily on the Asia and African continents.
"For years it has been my dream to record an audio version of the Holy Bible, combining my training as an actor with my love for God's Word. I am happy now to have the opportunity to do so. I started the very long process of recording the Bible 3 years ago and by the summer of 2011, the entire Bible was finished. I pray with my whole heart that these readings will be a blessing and an inspiration to many."

Please note: This is a summary and not the original book.
"No dark fate determines the future. We do. Each day and each moment, we are able to create and re-create our lives and the very quality of human life on our planet. This is the power we wield."
"Sadly, many of the things that undermine our joy and happiness we create ourselves. Often it comes from the negative tendencies of the mind, emotional reactivity, or from our inability to appreciate and utilize the resources that exist within us."
"The suffering from a natural disaster we cannot control, but the suffering from our daily disasters we can. We create most of our suffering, so it should be logical that we also have the ability to create more joy. It simply depends on the attitudes, the perspectives, and the reactions we bring to situations and to our relationships with other people."
"Materialistic values cannot give us peace of mind. So we really need to focus on our inner values, our true humanity. Only this way can we have peace of mind - and more peace in our world. A lot of the problems we are facing are our own creation, like war and violence. Unlike a natural disaster, these problems are created by humans ourselves."
