Loved it! Accessible and thought provoking.

This book accessible and thought provoking. Not just another book on why God is unlikely to exist, but rather a guide on how to think about leading a good life without needing to rely on God and religion as a North star.

An intellectual examination of ethics and values

This was a good listen that helped me to put into words my thoughts about values, God or the lack thereof, and my own ethical behavior.

Meh.

If you have been an atheist for any length of time, or read any otber book on tbe topic, this book offers nothing new.

Not really.

What was most disappointing about Peter Baldwin Panagores story?

The story jumped around a little bit.Two friends climbed this ice-ridden mountain.Suddenly they noticed that the sun was setting.As they watched others descend the mountain,it became clear that they were in trouble.Why were they in so much trouble?? Did they not figure out how to climb down? All of these scenarios then ensued,as one climber suffered from serious hyperthermia,and then a near death experience.After all was said and done,they are both back in the car driving around.Most people need medical treatment after something that dire.Although there were some lasting effects,there are some important details left out of this story that impacts its credability.

What three words best describe Dan Worens voice?

Dan Woren's voice was clear,believable and emotional.

Did Heaven Is Beautiful inspire you to do anything?

Not really.

Too much repetition & overly detailed side stories

Describing the near death experience is well done and the explanation for what he experienced is excellent. However I found the book spent way too much time on nonrelated background and overly detailed mountain climbing tech info.

Can't wait !

This book held us spellbound but I was distracted by the whistle of the reader!

After hearing Peter's story on a radio show I just had to get this book. I too experienced this wonderful experience he describes in his book.

Inspirational sharing inspires the reader

Such an inspirational book for anyone. We have all had those moments when everything looked so bleak... so hard to see a way out of the storm. Looking back on the same situation later, we can usually see that we grew because of it. Grab this book now so that you have it to reach for when those dark clouds start rolling in.

Great read!

A bunch of stories where various people describe challenges and how they learned from their experiences. How the challenges helped change them and their ourlook on life for the positive. Very uplifting and some great positive quotes all throughout book! Love anything with sunny dawn Johnston involved!!!

introducing a new angle in my life

It's not every day that I will read a book on zodiac signs, but I've recently been studying topics that I have strong assumptions for without really knowing anything about it. I must say that the assertions in zodiac signs can be very specific and it makes me wonder where the information really comes from, but I definitely do see correlations with my personality. However, I realize how you school such information can be for people that are really looking for a message or calling in their lives especially during times of turmoil. That's one of the reasons why reached out to this book also, because I am at a turning point in my life, embarking on a new chapter, starting on my own business, and there is some insurgency revolving around these changes. With this being said, it doesn't really matter where such information comes from because, if it helps me feel more confident more willing to take action towards my dreams, it's in my favor. It was an empowering ringing, and I'm glad that I picked up this book.

Revelations, what?

This rather short work on associated qualities with people born under certain Zodiacal signs. The book was well written and is chock full of interesting tidbits. I found that the points made of certain signs held some relevance for certain traits, but totally missed the boat on others. I was looking for a bit more depth concerning specific days under the signs and possibly associated with the time of day of birth. Also it seems that those born under sign but born in different years seem the behave differently. I would've liked to learn about traits associated with multi-annular cycles that may exist. I wanted to learn much more about the history of astrology.
