Brilliant.
I've read this story a dozen times at least, in awe of the author's efficient and vivid use of language. Each word you can tell was carefully assembled with meticulous care.
great short story
Its seriously only 4 pages long. If I had known that, I wouldnt have purchased it but I enjoyed it.
Enjoy!
As usual, it is Kate Chopin. That says it all to the initiated reader. Enjoy!
Freedom in the story of an hour.
Chopin packs a lot of emotion in this short story. The theme of freedom is important to Mrs. Mallard when she learns her husband died in a railroad accident. She admits that she is looking forward to being free "body and soul" which emphasizes her repressive state of her marriage. Highly recommended short story.
Amazing story
I love the story and the author. It came in great condition and arrived on time. Love this story
