Co narrators didn't work

I could easily listen to the female narrator on repeat. Couldn't get through one track of the male narrator. I found his voice to be so annoying and had WAY too long of a pause in between each prayer. Returning. You should rerecord with only the woman and it would be 100% better.

A great book of humorous life lessons by a southern pageant queen who really knows her pearls. I read it in one sitting, on the two year anniversary of my beloved mother's passing. There were so many things in this book that resonated with me. I don't know you, Jane, but I could almost be you. Thank you for writing this.

GOOD BOOK

Not what I expected...so much more! Lots of good advice from birth to death. You'll laugh, cry and rejoice. I would recommend this book to every age but should be the go-to book for every Christian couple who wants to bring your children up in the way the Bible teaches

Read this book if you like to giggle

This is a very funny book filled with tips on leading a more joyful life, encouragement in difficult situations (which the author calls âdark pearlsâ), humor involving being a beauty queen and a true Southern gal, and handling sad family situations. When she faced a family member who hates her, she prayed, cried, and believed at first that by acting as a Christian the relationship would heal. When it didnât she shares âmend your fences before the stampedeâ and learn to establish boundaries for safety. Many of her anecdotes paint funny word pictures, like when she rides in a parade as a beauty queen, on the hood of her mamaâs car, and falls right off. She is quick to laugh at herself and give us the giggles.

Another wonderful book from this great southern humorist and Christian author. Jane has a way of bringing the subjects we'd sometimes like to avoid, into the light, while making us laugh. Brilliant, small book that introduces Jainism to those who know little about it. Recommended for anyone interested in Eastern religions and the concept of non-violence.

A Personal Introduction

Gives overview of religion high points based on authors sentiments. Persuasive essays arguing for environmental and animal rights. Not the comprehensive introduction I was looking for.

Garbage

Not sure how this book received the ratings that it did, maybe the price. This book is very very slim, full of grammatical errors, and repeats the same information several times. I felt like I was reading a kids book report he rushed the night before. Total waste of money, especially if you don't have prime.

A step beyond The Secret

For those who truly desire to lead the life they love, this is the book for you. It's The Secret on steroids. I have been studying and practicing the principles set out in this and all of Neville's books. The Law and the Promise is the book I share with anyone who is ready to take the leap into a brand new way of thinking, of feeling, of living a larger and greater life. It is full of examples and easy explanations. My only caution is to avoid the last chapter. It's a difficult one to get through for those starting out on this journey and I am definitely speaking from experience!

Everything "The Secret" was supposed to be but wasn't. It is a "how to" book with specific examples of how to create the life you want. You'll need a supply of hi-liters and flags as you read and reread this book.

So tired of the political nonsense

What disappointed you about Infinity?

At the 40 minute mark and have heard nothing of relevance to the fear of death. Unless you care to hear again about Donald Trump being the next coming of Hitler and how his followers will destroy the world.

I didn't know who Craig Beck was, so it's a little unnerving to find yourself 1/3 through a book and feel the pseudoscience of New Thought sliding up next to you.

That said, there are a lot of very real things Beck says which fortunately outweigh the drippy part about NDEs. Those real things aren't a particular secret, but they are observed in a quality manner, from the innate contentment of animals to identifying what does and doesn't matter. To realising that it's the ego, not the true self that craves immortality.

Does Beck's book live up to the title? Not exactly, the best parts could be condensed into a single piece of long form journalism. That said, he makes a pretty good go at it, and for those of us who fear oblivion, a pretty good go is better than we expect.
