And he warns us about "belief traps" - holding on to beliefs that wouldn't survive critical evaluation. The best way to escape belief traps, he writes, is to expose our beliefs to the reasoned criticism of others.

this audiobook is new to me because it talks about chakra. and it is quite interesting that i wanted to know more about it. nonetheless the book is a great beginners guide to restoring holistic wellness, stimulate healing and have a mindful lifestyle.

This audiobook touches on auras, otherwise know as energy fields in the body, and how all of your health is tied to this amazing internal energy grid, how it can get off balance, and how to get back on track. Very interesting and informative listen!

i loved this book... After hearing my yoga teacher mentions chakras and auras week after week, I finally decided to learn a little more, so I got this book. The book basically talks about the energy that we give off have direct affect on our life. And how cleansing our auras will enhance our positive energy. Very fascinating subject and very beginner friendly too.

THIS IS NOT RODNOVERY. This is pure Ynglism. Buyer be warned if you are looking to discover traditional Slavic Belief. If you belive in the Vedic-Aryan Slavic Alien stuff, then Ynglism and Kushnir's books are for you.

Interesting

I was interested in any form of Slavic paganism and thought this might be a good place to start. It wasn't. The book doesn't seem to be edited or at least it isn't edited well. The ideas presented, while interesting, aren't really worth much to me. Additionally, the book's position as part of a series seems to me to be a way of making more money off the endeavor rather than a genuine desire to inform others. In short, I'm highly skeptical of the authors work and motivations. Get a genuine book on Slavic history by some genuine anthropologists. This isn't worth the data it occupies.

Did I drop acid or buy a book?

I feel like I took a hit of acid and spent an afternoon licking "Chariot of the Gods" while A Scientology podcast played in the background. I was expecting an overview of the myths and legends of the Slavic people. Instead I got multidimensional aliens, a war straight out of a DC comic, and 'evidence' based on hearsay of non Slavic peoples which were non-specific and highly erroneous. The author even goes so far as to try to bring science into the mixture, but his science it wrong on so many levels. There are no citations. There is no bibliography. The author references Ph.Ds who he drew information from, but does not name them, nor their work. I'm so glad I bought only one book and not the entire series.

A very well summarized book on Reiki and energy healing. The book contains many good information on Reiki and concepts of energy healing that are neatly laid out on a simple structure which facilitates reading & understanding. I applaud the author for taking the effort to condense all the key elements of reiki & energy healing into a book. Excellent insights into what is going on in America

This book will enlighten anyone who really wants to know whatis going on in the culture war. Many Christians, and the politicallyuninvolved are blithefully unaware of the driving forces behind the rabid secularism that we see now so often, in the media, politics, and schools. The war is not between Jews and Christians, the war is between secularized Jews and other atheists on the one side, and orthodox Jews, conservative Catholics, and evangelical Christians on the other. Rabbi Lapin explains how there has always been those Jews, ever since Sinai, who have rejected the Ten Commandments, and instead chosen to worship the golden calf of money, and refuse to let anything interfere with their sexual freedom. It is these types that make up many of the political action groups that we see trying to "de-Christianize" America, i.e. the ACLU, People for the American Way, Planned Parenthood, and others. I gained tremendous insights from reading this book. I also read "The Fatal Embrace," by Ben Ginsburg, another Jewish author who explains how the Jewish people have repeatedly, throughout history, sought the protection of the state in order to escape persecution from surrounding peoples, but have made some of the same mistakes they are making now, in Rabbi Lapin's opinion. I never knew before reading these authors how much many Jewish people FEAR the rise of Christianity, and think that secularizing America is protection against another Holocaust. Dr. Lapin argues just the opposite; attacking the Christian heritage has a corrosive effect, and his people should stop acting loud, aggressive and antagonistic. No matter where you are coming from on the political spectrum, this book will give you tremendous food for thought. One thing is sure: political views are always informed by one's religious and metaphysical beliefs. It cannot be otherwise.

Essential Reading for the Serious American Patriot

The left will hate him, the right will love him. And it will be interesting to watch the left attack him for his convictions of consience (one of our most treasured liberties) which they call freedom of speech. Of course they only apply that liberty to themselves and what they have to say and not to conservatives or the right. Conservatives have no rights or liberties in their world. That is reserved only for themselves and their loyal followers. But in spite of their unequal treatment of American citizens, every American who truly searches for the root causes of our social problems should read and heed the wisdom of this book.

Pretty Christian-centric

This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I like this author, but had read several of his other books which are more ecumenical and contain more scenarios. This one is pretty Evangelical Christian specific in many respects, which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but wasn't what I was looking for. Also not as many stories and mostly celebrity-oriented. I'm not really into celebrities.

Would you recommend Divine Alignment to your friends? Why or why not?

No. His other books are better.

What does Squire Rushnell and Louise Duart bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Helped me to finish the book with limited time. Squire Rushnell is pretty expressive. Louise Duart is mostly there as a contrasting voice for the bookmarks like chapter headings.

What character would you cut from Divine Alignment?

This is not a fiction book, so doesn't really apply, but the Darryl Strawberry story is really long . There was one section about the benefits of religious worship. I'm pretty sure the study they reference did not specifically say "church", but they do. This may be intellectually dishonest interpretation.

I loved it. Very interesting.
