Kindle version doesn't have illustrations
The free Kindle version of Robin Hood by Paul Creswick lists Wyeth as an illustrator, but there are no illustrations in the Kindle version. Why list an illustrator, if there are no illustrations? The story may be good, but if you are looking for a version with illustrations, this isn't it.
NOT the complete Paul Creswick Robin Hood!
This purchase was intended for my five year-old nephew for Christmas. While this edition does contain the NC Wyeth color plates, the book itself is "based on" Creswick's and is definitely not the Robin Hood I remember checking out (over and over) from the local library when I was a kid. Admittedly, this edition, more of an over-sized children's story book, is probably more age appropriate for my nephew. I'm still going to give him the book, but I'm saving it for his birthday. Still looking for the REAL Creswick Robin Hood!

Great book about Robin Hood.
No Hoodwinking here.
Probably one of the truest books about the 12th century hero. The fact that Much the Miller was a character I had never heard of before in any of the Robin Hood books or movies I've seen to date. Very few of the movies even mention the early death of our hooded hero. This is the first Robin Hood book I have read (outside of the Classic Comic) and I'm determined to read some of the other books, of which there are many, about this British icon.
