Good Series

hurried ending

the story was fine. plot and characters fine, then blam! hurried ending and anti-climatic. I was disappointed after this long build up. And author could have gave a conclusion of missing wife.

A little less talk, please

This is a pretty good Troubleshooters story -- tough guys, smart women, danger, sexy stuff and heroes all around. I like the way gays are accepted and treated as family without hesitation.

My only wish is that the author had left out some of the dialogue between the gay characters & shown us the scene in a more subtle way. Do gays really talk that way? I don't think ANYone could have so many lame conversations. Well maybe they could but it makes the storey sound like a group of junior high school kids giggling in biology class.

Pluses and Minuses

I'll start by saying, I've read every book in the series coming to this one. And simply put if you haven't I would not recommend this. If you've read the series and love Jules and are rooting for Robin, its worth the buy. Especially as, and you'll hear this in the afterwards, the profits of this book go to support equal marriage rights. all of this being said I can't say it's one of Suzanne Brockmann best books. she falls into what I consider her major shortcoming of telling rather than showing. as she's done in the last several books of the series she has a tendency to jump action scenes, and describe them later with dialogue. in this book that's used as a mechanism to try and understand what dependence of military and law enforcement go through. however it does windup with a very passive narrative. This is also not helped by an extremely monotone narrator, if you're listening to the audio book. the lively, and yes female, narration for jewels in the previous audio books brought him to life in a way that this one fell flat. This might also be with another reviewer came to see as Juvenal dialogue, as opposed to sharp sarcasm. This is my honest opinion about the book I thought someone who is a fan of the series should be commenting.

Underwhelmed

I wanted to like this book. I am not familiar with the TROUBLESHOOTER series, but I found the story very choppy. There was a lot of time spent developing characters, which is great, but then it seemed like all the momentum building to the climax lost steam, and it just kind of ended. There were some charming scenes, and some very good, honest situations. But in general, I had trouble finishing this one out. I do applaud the author for treating a delicate subject with great care and thought. I was also impressed with the prologue that made the story personal. But I am sorry to say, I would have trouble recommending this title to all but a few of my friends.

FUN

Classic Chick-Lit, Had me rolling my eyes the whole time. But it truly was a fun beach read, or even better, pick it up after a tough day at work. Sexy, sweet, FUN!!

I keep saying the same thing when asked this question. Lorelei is a very good reader. She makes you believe the characters. Only in two other series books did I not care for the way a character was portrayed, and that too was eventually changed and the new version is great. She's good at what she does.

I would have given 0stars if I could

I have never written a review before but had to on this one. I am a true Evanovich fan however this book was so poorly written I can't believe her name was on it. The characters were pitiful and unreal, and the main character Kate was absolutely anooying. I have read better written stories on fan fic sites. Don't waists yoyu money on this. I just can't believe she actually wrote this one. WOW!

Can't get enough of Raven MC

I can't get enough of Laura Kaye's series, which began with Hard Ink, spun out to Raven Riders and Blasphemy.

Cora and Slider are both hiding secrets from the world. Can they heal each other? You will have to read to find out. No spoilers here.

Ride Wild

I haven't listened to the first two of this series, and doubt I will. That being said, I listened to Ride Wild in one sitting, and enjoyed it.

Not bad for HEA light book. I enjoyed the characters, and had no problem with Abby Craden, the narrator. I've listened to her previously, and think she does a decent job narrating.

Sam and Ben were a great pair, and added much humor to the story. Cora's interactions with them was really funny at times. Slider was a good, but injured sole, who finds some peace again. Overall, not a bad listen.

Not a waste of a credit.

touching and beautiful

Have long wanted to see slider and his boys have a reason to smile and here it is. A few bumps on the way but well worth it. I love the Ravens and can never wait patiently enough for the next instalment!!

Charge

What did you like best about this story?

The attraction between Volt and Taylor is evident and the story hooks you and reels you in till the end, you find yourself second guessing the story line as you work your way through the book to be surprised that it wasn't round the corner, frustrating at times and left wide open for the next book.

Great book. absolutely loved the narrators. His voice was sexy as hell. book was amazing and now I have to get the second one. I'm just waiting for Taxes to find out that her very best girlfriend is the ex of her very best guy friend Volt. it's going to happen.

fabulous!

I loved this book. I love the characters and the instant connection I felt to them. I loved the writing and the story. the narration was fabulous. the only thing that I can think of that could easily be improved, is the scene breaks, there should be a longer pause so you know there is a scene break. I found myself backing it up and wondering what I missed a few times. it just jumped to another scene. I can't wait to get to the next book spark.

I'm so glad I was able to get the chance to listen to Charge. if I never would have listened to Charge I never would have met Volt or listened to Michael Ferraiuolo! Lia Langola never disappoints me. she definitely a narrator I'll gladly listen to if I'm.ever searching for a book. If you're looking for an enjoyable easy listen then you will like Charge. It's the first in a series, I wouldn't say cliffhanger ending but things definitely need to be sorted between the main characters. It's a friends to lovers story that really has potential to be great, but I felt there was not enough for this book to hold weight on it's own. The two main characters decide to only be friends since they are both looking for different things. At the beginning I did feel that spark between them but since most of the book they are exploring other relationships it sort of fizzled. I needed more of that "charge" I was expecting based on the blurb. With that said I did enjoy the story and both narrators were really good. They both gave each character their own voice. I would listen to more books narrated by both.

...romantic suspense thriller where the romantic aspect is incidental to the great suspense story. Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh, both of whom set their books in eastern Oregon, are masters of this genre.

Exceptional thriller!

I really enjoy Kendra Elliot's writing. Her stories develop characters that make you feel as if you know them yourself. Very suspenseful, yet down to earth. Makes you think about your home town, in some aspects. The performance by this reader is always excellent.

Great characters

Good story with mystery and romance. The book mainly follows two sisters and the men who love them. There are four parts and each settles some issues but each ending is incomplete and reader very much wants next part. There is a big boss villain to unmask and catch. One sister seems well on her way to HEA but the other sister still has major road blocks in finding happiness in her marriage. This is third part and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wonderful like all her books!

You,d get more reviews if you did not require 15 words. The fact is that it is a pain.

IT'LL BE HARD TO LET GO OF THIS SERIES

As you listen to the stories in this awesome series, about the surviving five dishonourably discharged Special Ops Soldiers who were set-up to all be killed along with the rest of their team, you can't help but be drawn into the suspense, tension and hard won clues as to who set them up, why and how much danger are they in now. Then there's the love stories that go along with them which makes them all sizzling, compelling, drama-filled, sexy and romantic listens.

Beckett and Kat's story ended the remaining tight team's struggle to reclaim their dignities, reputations, lives and wrapped up the who, how they did it and the consequences it had on their lives and the lives of the men who organised the whole vicious criminal plan. But as well as that there was a tender and beautiful romance intertwined around nail-biting drama and suspense as the clues kept mounting up.

Worth a credit? Dual POV, great narration, sexy romance and a plot that was full of intrigue and action so..... YES very creditworthy. Oh where Laura are we going from here?

The best of the series!

Laura Kaye has blown me away with this series! She keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat with her amazing storylines. This book about Beckett and Kat tore me apart and put me back together. I absolutely loved the story of this big tough guy falling in love and healing his heart that had been so broken he stopped feeling! I also love the hilarious feisty dynamic between Kat and Beckett! They are hands down my favorite couple in this series!!! An absolute must read!!!

This was a great addition and conclusion to the series. I know there are a few more short stories in the series after this book but the series storyline about the 5 men trying to get justice for what was done to them is completed in this book. I'm still planning to read the rest just because I really like the series and the characters in it. :D

Kat is a lawyer in the Justice department and sister to Nick and Jeremy (heroes from books #1 & 3.5). Kat lives in Washington, DC and spends a lot of time working on her career.

Great Book

Lucas "Timber" seems to oviously like a type of women ... so it seems .By the end of this book you will understand that comment , Drama is again high, the Women of the club are again at risk , Betrayal is rampant , but it also brings people together ... Juliette is a bitch! but she has never gone againest her fathers wishes .. ever .. so she actually needs to grow the fuck up at 27, grow a pair & stand up for herself to a few people ... by the end of this book i didnt mind her . The story continues with shit going down ... trying to figure out the who's, why's & The older brothers stepping in ..Trying to help .... Timber's father seems cool ,I really like Timbers Mum ... she seems insightful, know things before they happen .. she's a good charator.. :-)
