Why use up written experience to write disturbing rubbish???

I keep listening in the hopes that this will get better. Want to know that the good characters turn out in a good place away from these nasty people. I want the bad a** holes to end up at the bottom of the ocean!!! These are truly terrible characters that show the overprivileged wealthy at their worst!

Cautiously optimistic about this shifter menage

Levi and Ian fall in love, but Ian is human and Levi a werewolf- is not allowed to mate with a human without special trials being met. In this case, once the pair has bonded, they must separate for a year and then Ian must find Levi on his own exactly one year later.

That year apart is pure torture for both men, but Ian doesnt handle it well at all. Ian ends up finding Darius, a vampire, and becoming lovers with him. When Ian and Levi re-connect, Levi is devastated both because he was betrayed by Ians cheating and that hed cheat with the wolves most hated enemy- vampires.

So Ian runs off and of all things Darius and Levi end up pairing up to find him.

During that trip the two end up you guessed it.hooking up! So now, when they finally find Ian, nobody knows what will happen next and who will end up with whom

On top of all that, Levis clan wants both Ian and Darius (and probably Levi by extension) dead so the three of them must all re-connect, sort out their relationship and evade the clan.

WOW. On the one hand this is exactly the type of ménage I hate. I strongly dislike the idea of an extra man screwing up the relationship between two loving partners. Ian is VERY hard to like here because he really betrayed Levi. Its sort of explained and justified, but . Its still hard to accept.

Then add in Levi and Darius getting together thats almost impossible to accept but it somehow makes sense. But again, its hard.

The story is so compelling and LA Witts writing is so engaging that despite my concerns I was driven to finish and move on to book two so well see how this crazy ménage works out.

Jason Winters does a great job of trying to keep all these guys separate. They dont have any really strong accents but I felt like I could mostly tell who was speaking at all times. Hes good with the emotion and easy to listen to.

Overall I give this a cautious 4 of 5 stars for both the audio and the book and move on to book 2 with a bit of excitement and trepidation both.

Oh Matt

Matthew Reed is a Miracle

I absolutely love Tammy Falkner's Reed Brother's series and Maybe Matt's Miricle is among my favorites. I have both read and listened to this incredible story multiple times, and for some reason I had not left a review. What a mistake I have made. Each and every time, I find myself just as emotionally invested as the first time I read this incredible story.

You first learn about Matthew Reed in book one of the series. You see his battle with cancer and thankfully, in this book you get to see his his story up close. Like all Reed brothers, when they love, they love big and with their entire beings. Once you are a Reed, you will have more love and support than you could ever ask for.

Tammy Falkner does an amazing job of intricately weaving multiple storylines throughout the entire series, while giving each brother his own stand alone story. Matt's story is no different. Tammy Falkner has a gift at pulling at each and every one of my heart strings and making me fall more in love with this series as each page turns. There are many times I laughed out loud, cried through sadness as well as happiness and enjoyed the sizzling romance that popped off the page. In Maybe Matt's Miracle, you get to see hope shine through.

I love how Matt can be a teddy bear, comic and a hot alpha all in one. Like all of his brothers he exudes confidence, yet vulnerability is still there. Tammy Falkner is incredibly talented as she has created a world I never like to leave far behind.

Christy Wurzbach only enhances Tammy Falkner's brilliance as an author. She brings the characters to life and makes me want to have repeat performances on a regular basis. I simply cannot get enough of the Reed Brothers series.

The Tinman has a heart.

This is a light contemporary romance. It started slow but then improved. I found this in the category of erotic but I found it to be light contemporary compared to many of the other erotic books I have listened to. I bought this at half price rather than use my credit. I use my credits with books priced over $10. It was a good half price book.

AN ENJOYABLE & EASYGOING CONTEMPORARY LISTEN

I didn't realise it but this is actually the 3rd in a series but it's easily a stand-alone listen about Landon, a Millionaire with relationship issues, and Kimber a woman who never got over her teen crush no matter how many times she tried and has the opposite relationship issues than Landon.

Nicely flowing romance with sexy times, heartbreaking times, funny times and very romantic times and also includes a full supporting cast of likeable friends and relations. A babysitting job, a no strings sex list, an unexpected surprise, misunderstandings, a happy reunion and then the sweet HEA ending.

Worth a credit? This is an easy going, sexy, light, entertaining and romantic listen that's fun, predictable and a typical 'Mills & Boone' type romance with the H/H being very likeable and without any dark secrets, evil ex's or bad moods. I bought this on sale and kept my credit but if you're in the mood for this type of listen then I can recommend this.

Laugh Out Loud Sexy...

What made the experience of listening to The Sexperts the most enjoyable?

Vocal goddess Lucy Malone was a major draw for me to this work, but Melinda DuChamp's ability to tell a story was a close second. Her ability to simultaneously speak to my inner adolescent humor and my adult libido is a trick of magic.

What other book might you compare The Sexperts to and why?

I can't think of anything this side of Cinemax After Dark that can compare with this book...except for something else written by Melinda DuChamp.

Chastity in the hotel room. Yes, please.

There were several moments where I was compelled to laugh out loud. I did not fight the urge to do so.

It was funny, sexy, smart and hot. The author doesn't overuse any of the devices used to tell the story. The balance of humor and heat keep the story new from the first page to the last. Lucy Malone takes time to give each character a unique voice. Thought is put into each syllable.

Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience I can't wait to relive.

Awesome story

Hot, hot, hot! This was a scorcher! This is my first Eliza Gayle book and I have to say I'm liking what I am hearing. I thought the relationship had just the right amount of time to really develop and trust to be built between all parties.

Gabriel (who prefers Gabby) was such an interesting character. She wasn't a wilting flower and I appreciate that kind of character. I like the stronger characters, not only in romance, but with wanting to submit. It enhances the story for me. But she's no warrior princess either. I love being able to see the vulnerable side. Let's face it, all women hit that point in a relationship and it makes the character relatable. Plus, what woman wouldn't be swept away by two incredibly handsome doms who want nothing more than to take care of their woman?

I liked the story (is that a shocker?). I like how it didn't fall into stereotypical when it came to some of the troubles that Gabby finds herself in. I was expecting something completely different and was pleasantly surprised by how Eliza Gayle handled it. I didn't roll my eyes or feel like it was too cliche.

Strong romance, strong story, strong characters. Absolute pleasure to listen to!

Nina Burns was outstanding in the delivery of the story.

Gabby needs to confront her husband and her friend Angel. She did neither. Having everyone else take care of her problems took away from the story. Gabby did not grow as a character. Also, the author tied up all the issues too quickly.

Like the rest of the story, there were no surprises.

Nina Burns portrayal of Gabby brought the character to life. However, her male characters could have been better.

If you are looking for great sex scenes, this the book for you. However, the story line needs to be more developed.

This book has a very weak storyline. It is just one sex scene after another. It gets tiring after a while. The characters are not really developed. The storyline only really comes into play at the very end.

Cops Can Be Cowboys Too

Cam, a heroic, wounded soldier turned lawman in a family of cowboy ranchers finds it hard to return to normal life when he returns home as a wonded warrior. Domini, a wandering immigrant, has it bad for a big, brooding lawman. Circumstances bring the two together to raise a family and the heat helps to meld their family. Disabilities and insecurities don't get in the way of their passionate encounters.

For the squeamish -- threesomes, anal sex, bondage, oral sex and dirty talking.

I love the Rough Riders series and Lorelei James's writing style. This story finally gives us Cams story, the wounded hero who returned from serving in Iraq without a leg and scars both physical and mental. Cam is a Dom through and through, he is happy with his sexuality and isn't willing to change, he is what he is no excuses. Even if that means staying away from sweet Domini, the one woman he really desires. Domini though is not what he thinks she is, she is in fact a natural submissive and the perfect complement to him...

What I truly enjoyed about this book is that Domini isn't portrayed as a simpering sub, she is portrayed as a strong independent woman who, because of her inner strength, is able to offer her gift of submission freely. Cam knows he loves Domini and Domini knows she loves Cam but neither are truthful with each other and believe the other doesn't feel the same way, that it is purely sexual. I am sure you can imagine the problems this may cause, and Im not going to reveal anymore due to spoilers...

This was an incredibly well written story that had me riveted. It leaves you breathless, hot and filled up with romance. I have long wanted Cams story and it didn't disappoint in any way. The sex scenes were incredibly hot and left nothing to the imagination. Lorelei sure can leave your heart pounding :)
