I love her stile and the perennial theme of the sweet smaller blond boy and the strong big hero in all her books , I enjoy all the way she tells their story. I just love it .

This story is one of my favorite, I got the audio and it was worth it . I will keep re listening over and over for sure.

Un-bear-bly good!!

Usually the first book in the series gets all the accolades, but I've got to say as much as I was had been looking forward to getting my hands on and reading the first book I actually enjoyed the second book more. There was action, drama, uncertainty, anger, fear, temptation, elation, danger, criminal enterprises, violence, bedside vigils, babies, father and sons, role reversal, new jobs, snitches, trailer parks, tears, pain (physical and emotional), friendship, protective mates, stud horses, ferocious bears, and family picnics.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book so much. I figured out the mystery and did a fist pump when the solution was revealed. This book centered on quiet Jed, his new business and employee. How hard it is to renovate an established place. How great it is to have friends you can depend on. How annoying it is to have friends who think they know what's best for you. Darn them!! How a broken heart can keep you from moving on and causing you to miss out on so much of life, because you are so afraid of being hurt again. Which is worse heartache or heartbreak? Which is worse never experiencing love or loving and loosing him?

This story easily held my interests. Something was always happening. You never quite knew what to expect. Well you can expect a really good story.

More than Pumping Gas

Lamont's Trailer drug infested hell leaves Noah desperate for a way out. Unfortunately, the man he is head over heels in love with Jedediah won't have anything to do with him. Jed has been scorned before and swears its just lust. The gas station Jed just bought gives Noah the opportunity he needs to get closer to Jed by working for the man. Jed's bear and Noah's own journey has a way of pushing the two together and forcing them to take a chance on the love they can have for one another.

Them bears can be a tough lot to love!

Jed is a bear shifter who had his heart ripped out from his first love. So he guards it and refuses to give into the temptation to engage in the sexy, strong-willed Noah. Noah, though, won't take 'no' for an answer, and keeps pursuing the Jed. He manages to get Jed to give him a trial job at Jed's new garage, and never gives up on his hope that he can have a life with Jed.

The characters are fun and unique. Noah is strong-willed, determined, and even a bit on the aggressive side in his pursuits of Jed. Jed is surly and a bit withdrawn, keeping Noah at arm's length. The interplay between the two is written very nicely.

Wow! Fantastic is right!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I'd recommend this audiobook. It's fantastic, in the sense that there's fantasy involved (both magic-fantasy and sexy-fantasy), and also in the sense that it's a hot, entertaining book to listen to!

I listened to the whole thing in one day and now I'll have to go back and listen to some of those sexy-fantasy bits again. :-)

What was one of the most memorable moments of By the Numbers?

There are a bunch! One that stands out comes toward the very end. The point of view character and her husband have been engaging in all sorts of wild, fantastic (that word again!) games, and then they find themselves alone, and together... And it's just really lovely.

What about Didi Knottss performance did you like?

She's got a wonderful, smooth voice that manages to convey both what's happening from funny to scorchingly hot but also all of the characters' emotional states. I'll definitely look for more books read by her!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were a number of times that I found my breath catching. Early in the book, Jen (the point of view character) is talking to her long-lost friend about all of the things that she's missed... and yeah, I had to reach for the tissues. Definitely.

Any additional comments?

I'm a big fan of this author, so it was a real pleasure to listen to her first full-length novel, and a real pleasure that it was so satisfying.

On one level, By the Numbers is a sex fantasy about a happily married woman (Jen) getting to explore a love she never knew she could have had she gets to have her cake and be eaten too.

Though I generally swing toward preferring M/F and M/M/F erotic romance, the exploration of the opening up of Jen's sexuality, starting with a seriously hot game of Let's Pretend, is sexy, touching, and exciting. Both the scenes exploring Jen's latent lesbian feelings for her long-lost friend Brigid and the climactic (and how!) three-way scenes that include Jen's husband Jack are going to make you want to listen one-handed. ;-)

On another level, this is a book about coming to terms with growing up and growing older looking at the choices you've made and the opportunities you've chosen to give up. There's a beautifully melancholy, bittersweet quality to the book that makes the sex incredibly moving it's never just about the sex. (Though the sex is great! And the narrator does a beautiful job of conveying it!)

The magical world that KD West created here is rich and dense.

Good read as always

This is why I am such a fan of Lauren Fremont. Honestly thought that for once sheâs written something for the opposite gender. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying this read as much as her other works that are in my opinion, more for the female audience. Good read as always! Iâm definitely watching out for more!

All story of this book are very interesting I really love those store very much all are to realistic and the characters are really fantastic. Awesome story

Full moon bay

The worst first online date ever, it started out great but the ending? Poor Diana! She knew she should have just meet him at the bar instead of letting him pick her up. Her sister had even warned her, now she was in trouble, running in the woods from a crazy man!

Ryker alpha of one of the 3 wolf packs had heard the shot and the women yell. He saved her from the human but only after she had been shot or he would have gone after the man. Now he had to break one of his rules and bring her back to be healed or she could die from loss of blood.

And that's the start of it lol but the rest is full of spice, action, drama and great story. There is a killer on the loose, 3 packs of werewolves running in the woods, and that's just for starters wow this is great. I can't wait to read the next book!

Shifter fans be warned, you will be hooked ! I know I am

Fantastic first book

Book one of the wolf pack protector series by Liv Brywood.

Diana goes on a date that she met online only to be kidnapped by Zane a crazy killer who think women need slaughtering. She escapes but is hunted done by Zane. She is shot and struggling to run away thinking this is the end she closes her eyes only to open them to find a werewolf protecting her.

Ryker is the Pack alpha and after been heartbroken by the death of his human girlfriend made a law that no human can be allowed in to the Pack.

Really enjoyed this book especially the changes to pack den. Most werewolf book have the Pack living in modern caves etc but this Pack we're living in very basic amenities.

Loved the story and way Liv Brywood writes but a times narrator wasn't fantastic but otherwise overall a great first book. Looking forward to next in series especially to see what changes Diana makes to den and pack. Great HEA.

Well that was different

I love Molly Harper. I love Amanda Ronconi. I haven't tried Molly Harper's "Writing As" so when this popped up in my search I thought, why not. I didn't realize they were going to be erotica but that didn't really bother me- I could've done five minutes worth of research to learn this had it really been an issue, nor did I expect all the foul language, but I don't mind the F'bomb being dropped.

The stories are about an hour a piece which doesn't leave much time for the actual story so what we end up with is 30 minutes to set up the story and characters. Luckily it's all taking place in one location (don't think about that too much because...ew, there are a lot of body fluids in this restaurant which I think would probably shut it down if this was real world) so some of the characters overlap which helps to define the major players.

The other thirty minutes consists of the sex scene or the events leading up to the sex scene. While it's not really half and half that seems to be the major outline for these brief tales.

The writing is good, quick-witted, and Amanda Ronconi nails the humor as always. For the most part I like the stories and will listen to the others. I do wish they were longer giving the reader longer to know the characters. Perhaps if it had been one full-length book with all these couples it would've been a little better, but I'm not a writer, I'm just a reader.

Where does Served rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

This came out a week ago and I've listened to it 3 times already.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Served?

"My daily does of F-word" and the scene that follows made me 1) stop walking, 2) and laugh OUT LOUD. Love love love this banter. I also liked the volumne set which really wraps the individual stories together. I hope she explores some of these relationships in bigger books.

What about Amanda Ronconis performance did you like?

Amanda's rendition of a Cajun drawl makes me want to book some time in rural Louisianna or maybe just frequent several of NOLAs restaurants.

The story is great. It kept me intrigued and wanted to keep listening. The worst part was listening to the narrator. She was horrible.

I like the story, but it took all I had to finish listening to this audible. Chapter 11 recording was horrible. Didn't anyone review this recording? It's a shame.

Good book and start of promising series!

Enjoying the book but very disappointed that the remaining books do not come in audio. Why do one and not the rest?

the story line was good but the narrator not much. everything sounded like a runoff sentence. You couldn't tell when who was talking.

I enjoyed the storyline very much but was disappointed by the delivery. The narrator put very little emotion or empathy into the delivery of the story & I found I had to listen very carefully to pick up on which character was involved & when. Basically I got the jist.

I liked the story but I don't understand why a writer constantly has to use cuss words. you can write a good story without cussing I every paragraph.

Another awesome book.

Well written, characters come to life and the story keeps you turning each page, couldn't put the book down. Great story and characters. Highly recommend any book from this author. One of my favorite authors. Love her other series herons cove etc...life like descriptions depict a world you fall into and become one with the characters and story.
