Dr. Ahmed Afifi is an Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He graduated from medical school and did a surgery residency in Cairo, Egypt, and then completed three clinical fellowships in the US - craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Hand and Microsurgery at the University of New Mexico, and finally Aesthetic and Breast Reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been in practice at the University of Wisconsin since 2011, with a clinical practice focusing on body contouring and facial aesthetic surgery, migraine surgery, as well as breast reconstruction.
