This week’s guest is a botanist and manages part of the science division at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, Doctor Alastair Robinson. We talk about what botany actually is, plus why carnivorous plants are his area of expertise. We also chat about what inspired him to study plants from a very young age, and how being out in the field is exceptionally interesting and sometimes dangerous. Plus how working at the Botanic Gardens has been a very rewarding experience.
