This week, Nikki Toyama-Szeto chats with Dr. Charles Chavis Jr. He is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University and the Founding Director of the John Mitchell Jr. Program for History, Justice, and Race  at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution.  He's also the author of The Silent Shore: The Lynching of Matthew Williams and the Poltiics of Racism in the Free State.  Listen in as he shares about his involvement with the movement for truth, racial healing, and transformation here in the United States, and how his faith fuels his engagement with this work.
