In this episode, we'll talk about what happens after the storm is over, and what we do on the other side. The disciples trusted Jesus to get them through the storm—and so must we. But what do we do after the storm is over?

There's a Japanese proverb that says, "When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person that walked in. That's what the storm is all about." God has a purpose in every storm he allows us to walk through—will we trust Him in the midst of the storms?

Hebrews 11 teaches us that faith is making every decision in your life with God's promises in mind. When we know and trust God and His Word, we won't be afraid of the obstacles and challenges ahead of us; instead, we'll follow the example of the saints of old and lean into our Lord!

In this second portion of the message, we focus on Joseph and his response to the news of Jesus' first coming. Jesus fulfilled hundreds of years of prophecies, which Mary and Joseph would have been familiar with as those in the line of David. Still, it took faith for Joseph to lay aside what the situation seemed to be and trust what God was telling him!

It's easy at this time of year to focus on regrets and unfulfilled goals; but when we know that everything works together for our good through God, we can move forward in faith, pressing into the things God has for us and knowing that His grace is sufficient for us when we're not perfect.
