God told the people that, if they would look towards the bronze snake that had been lifted up, they would be healed; this foreshadowed our need to be born again and look to Jesus as our salvation. We won’t experience full healing in our lives until we are born again.

Hezekiah was a king of Israel, but he had a major character flaw: he lost sight of the fact that God was his source. Instead of staying humble, Hezekiah got out of touch with God and impressed foreign leaders by showing off his wealth. From his story, we learn the importance of both perspective and caution.

In this second half of the episode, we continue seeing how God used Lazarus’s story to build faith in his family and friends. God does everything out of love, but also to grow us and our faith in Him!
