Healing comes in different forms. God’s plan to heal us may not look like we expected it to…but we have to keep trusting that He will take better care of us than we will!

God has provided everything we need to live a godly life, including healing! First, we have to call upon Him, and know that He wants us to get better!

In this second portion of the episode, we learn that Zacchaeus obeyed Christ quickly. God didn’t send His Son into the world to congratulate the super-spiritual, but to invite those who will follow Him in an authentic, action-oriented way.

Zacchaeus’s story teaches us that, if we want to take hold of all God has for us, we have to adopt a new perspective— we have to be positioned to encounter God in a new way.

Luke 8 tells the story of Jesus healing a man possessed with many demons. From this story, we learn that Jesus allows us to have authority in the spiritual realm. We have the power to say no to fear, and to walk in victory, because of his life, death, and resurrection!
