What do you think the most dangerous food in the world is? Find out!

    DATA:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3704564/

0:00 Introduction: What is the most dangerous food?

0:28 Why this is the most dangerous food in the world
6:10 The most dangerous food in the world
8:53 Check out this video on the healthiest foods!

Today, we're going to talk about the most dangerous food you can eat and what makes it so dangerous.

Factors that make this the worst food in the world for your health:

    1. It combines starch and fat under high heat
    • This creates advanced glycation end products, which affect your eyes, brain, heart, and kidneys.

    2. Hydrogenated oils

    • This contains trans fats, which affect your cells, harden your arteries, and may increase your risk for cancer.

    3. Acrylamide

    • This is a neurotoxin that has been linked to Alzheimer's.

    4. Sugar

    • Sugar can lead to many different health problems. This food may contain sugar, beet sugar, dextrose, or maltodextrin. All of these types of sugars are very dangerous.

    5. Glyphosate

    • I believe glyphosate can potentially alter a person's microbiome and may lead to negative health effects.

    6. Seed oils

    • These oils are very inflammatory.

    7. Ketchup

    • Ketchup contains high fructose corn syrup, which can lead to fatty liver and insulin resistance. It also has corn syrup, modified corn starch (MSG), and soy oil.

You probably guessed it—the most dangerous food in the world for your health is French fries.

  • This is Not Designed for Human Consumption

Why is junk food so addicting? Let me explain why you can’t resist junk food, why you should stop eating junk food, and how to easily identify toxic foods with my new app. Find out which foods to avoid so you don’t fall victim to the obesity epidemic!

2:49 The new Dr. Berg app!
    3:33 Toxic foods to avoid
    5:39 Lab-based meats

My free app helps you identify toxic foods. By scanning the barcode, the Dr. Berg app will tell you how much sugar, starch, and seed oils are in a product.

To make a profit, food companies must create an irresistible product that never leaves you fully satisfied so you will continue eating it. Food scientists work to create the perfect combination of sugar, starch, seed oils, salt, and flavoring to create maximum pleasure, also known as the bliss point.

Artificial flavor chemicals are very different from natural flavor chemicals and are 300 times more intense! When you repeatedly consume these chemicals, you can develop dopamine resistance.

Junk food is devoid of nutritional value and lacks protein. Junk foods are not food in the true sense of the word. Food is defined as something that gives you energy and helps you sustain life, something junk food can't do.

Here is a list of some of the worst junk foods. Avoid these foods!

    1. BBQ chips
    2. Cheese pop
    3. Plant-based meat
    4. Fast food
    5. Artificial maple syrup
    6. Extra virgin olive oil

I recently learned something new about how to stop overeating and satisfy hunger—you need to hear this!

    DATA:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T2GGHT8

0:00 Introduction: How to satisfy hunger

0:16 The best way to avoid overeating
    1:10 Benefits of protein
    1:37 Protein explained
    3:15 Protein requirements
    7:40 Learn more about protein!

After learning some interesting new information, I’m going to share how to stop overeating and the best way to satisfy your hunger.

There are three things I’ve covered on this topic before:

    1. Consume more fat
    2. Eat nutrient-dense foods
    3. Support healthy digestion

The above three things are important. But the best way to satisfy hunger and stop overeating is to consume the right amount of protein.

One study found that certain insects will continue to eat until their protein requirements are met. If you put these insects on a low-protein diet, they will overeat.

However, you don’t want to consume too much protein. Excess protein is not stored and will convert to sugar. The right amount of protein will give your body what it needs without converting to sugar or fat.

11:48 How to reduce stress and lower cortisol
13:33 Learn more about natural stress relief!

Chronic stress can affect every system in the body. Let's talk about how to lower cortisol and relieve stress.

We've been told that our environment is dangerous, which causes a lot of stress and anxiety. But, while our environment may be dangerous, it's not as dangerous as many are led to believe—and it's not healthy to keep your attention on this negativity.

It's vital to change your viewpoint on your environment and see it in a positive light, as well as filter out some of the negativity you're exposed to.

Chronic stress can potentially lead to various health issues, including:

    • A weak microbiome and more pathogenic bacteria
    • A poor immune system
    • Inflammation
    • Fertility problems
    • High insulin levels
    • High triglycerides and LDL and low HDL
    • Poor detoxification
    • Slow digestion
    • Poor absorption of vitamins and minerals (including vitamin D)
    • Tightened fascia
    • Cognitive problems
    • The activation of bad genes and suppression of good genes

Two of the best ways to deal with stress and cortisol:

    1. Change the viewpoint of your environment and filter out various threats of danger
    • Get space in nature
    • Connect with your environment

    2. Physically flush out accumulated adrenaline and cortisol

    • Exercise
    • Do physical work

5:52 Learn more about how to lower cortisol naturally!

Let's talk about how to lower cortisol, lose belly fat, and support a healthy mood with a simple 1/2 cup of tea.

Cortisol is the main stress hormone. Many people are exposed to chronic high cortisol levels. When you're exposed to high levels of cortisol over a long time, you could potentially develop cortisol resistance.

Cortisol resistance is a situation where you have high levels of cortisol in the body, but it's not working as it should. This can lead to a cascade of health problems.

Some people end up with cortisol resistance due to stress, but others have a genetic weakness that can lead to this issue.

    Potential effects of high cortisol:

    • Depression
    • Anxiety
    • Belly fat
    • Cognitive problems
    • Metabolic syndrome
    • PCOS
    • Bone loss
    • Insulin resistance

The best remedy to lower cortisol is a phytonutrient called EGCG in green tea. Drinking green tea regularly may help reduce stress and lower cortisol.

Other great natural remedies to lower cortisol:

    • Licorice
    • Curcumin
    • Emodin (Japanese knotweed)

We’re living in an environmental mismatch. The environment we live in today is very different from the one our ancestors lived in, where frequent eating and snacking were not the norm. The problem isn’t just eating too much but eating too frequently. Intermittent fasting helps return us to more ancestral eating patterns and may be one of the best things you can do for your health.

During the first 12 hours of fasting, insulin begins to drop. Metabolic disease is often related to chronically high insulin. After about 12 hours, your body increasingly relies on fat burning and ketones for fuel, providing an alternative fuel source for the brain.

As fasting continues, autophagy helps clean up damaged cells and supports repair. During a 24- to 48-hour prolonged fast, growth hormone can also increase.

Periodic prolonged fasting can have incredible benefits for the brain, immune system, heart, and more. Many of the benefits of prolonged fasting occur when you refeed. For this reason, how you break your fast is critical.

Rice water contains B vitamins and amino acids essential for the hair. Fermented rice water contains pitera, a byproduct of fermentation often used in skin care. Pitera helps brighten the hair and also helps with dandruff and itchiness.

Fermented rice water contains lactic acid, which decreases dullness and frizziness. It also contains magnesium and selenium. Fermented rice water increases nitric oxide, which helps bring oxygen to the hair's root.

To make fermented rice water, combine 2 cups of organic rice in a bowl with 4 cups of water. Massage the rice with water and drain. Add 2 cups of water to the wet rice and allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 2 hours. Strain the liquid into a glass jar and cover lightly.

After 48 hours, cover your fermented rice water with a lid and store it in the refrigerator. The cold temperature will slow down bacterial growth.

To use fermented rice water for your hair, apply it to your hair and scalp, leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rinse. Do this twice per week for hair growth and healthier hair.

Fermented rice water helps repair the hair and puts beneficial microbes back into the hair. It can also be used on your face!

  • American Heart Association Resisted Prohibiting Junk Food

The American Heart Association is supposed to work to prevent heart disease, the #1 killer worldwide. Surprisingly, the AHA openly opposed the SNAP reform bill, which would prevent the purchase of junk food with SNAP. Is the American Heart Association really trying to keep us on a “heart-healthy” diet? Find out in this video.

Most people know that the American Heart Association receives funding from the junk food industry, so it may not have come as a surprise that they openly rejected the SNAP reform bill. After much embarrassment, they retracted their statements and claimed to no longer oppose the bill.

Soda is the most frequently purchased item under the SNAP program. Soda lobbyists argue that the SNAP reform bill violates the liberty of choosing what you want to eat and drink!

Junk food companies are paying social media influencers to oppose the SNAP reform bill and focus on food insecurity.

Government subsidies for food first started during the Great Depression, but they have since become much more corrupt. Today, the system continues to make the junk food industry richer. Big Food and Big Pharma continue to benefit from this system at the expense of taxpayers and the health of the American people.

The SNAP program should allow people to purchase nutrient-dense foods and prevent the purchase of ultra-processed foods. This would reduce chronic disease and save people money on prescription medications.

Junk food companies oppose SNAP reform because a tremendous amount of money is at stake. Soda industry subsidies alone are a 10 billion dollar business!

Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food)

Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements.

Are carbohydrates healthy or not? Discover the top signs of carbohydrate deficiency.

0:00 Introduction: Are carbohydrates good for you?

    0:25 Carbohydrate deficiency symptoms
2:58 The benefits of a carbohydrate deficiency
    5:00 Tips for keto beginners
7:00 Learn more about the keto diet!

Let’s talk about carbohydrates. When you look up information about the symptoms or signs of carbohydrate deficiency, you’ll likely see the wrong information.

You’ll be told that our brain needs carbohydrates and that the body prefers glucose as fuel. You’ll also probably be told that cutting carbs out of your diet could lead to a lot of health issues.

Common misconceptions about what happens if you stop consuming carbs:

    1. You’ll crave carbs and junk food
    2. You’ll be hungry all of the time
    3. You’ll experience brain fog and fatigue
    4. You’ll have mood swings
    5. You’ll be too tired to exercise
    6. You’ll be constipated
    7. You’ll get headaches
    8. You’ll have bad breath
    9. You’ll lose too much water and electrolytes

The real benefits of a carbohydrate deficiency:

    1. No cravings
    2. No appetite
    3. Cognitive improvements
    4. Improved mood
    5. Better exercise performance
    6. Better digestion
    7. Fewer headaches
    8. No bad breath

When you stop consuming carbs and start doing keto and fasting correctly, you can experience many incredible health effects.

Any carbohydrate that your brain requires can be made from non-carbohydrate sources like protein, fat, and ketones. Many potential issues that may appear with keto can also quickly be resolved. For example, you can take electrolytes as you lose water weight.

Keep in mind when you start doing Healthy Keto® that it's important to lower your carbs to 30 to 50 grams net carbs per day and to give your body time to get into ketosis.
