Dr. Kawthar Omolola Ahmed is a Nigerian medical doctor and biomedical scientist with a growing interest in pediatric surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with distinction from Makerere University in Uganda and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh is a Nigerian family physician, public health expert, and advocate for universal health care. She currently serves as Commissioner for Health in Rivers State, a 2019 Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow, she previously led the Abuja Centre of the National Blood Transfusion Service (2009–2014), where she helped revise Nigeria’s National Blood Policy under the National Health Act of 2014.

Dr. Oreh earned her MBBS from the University of Nigeria, and holds postgraduate degrees in International Health Management from Imperial College London and Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Benedicta Chukwuyem Apuamah is a Nigerian-trained pharmacist, global health expert, and passionate advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over five years of program management experience, she has contributed to projects funded by The Global Fund and the CDC, collaborating with organizations such as Management Sciences for Health, the United Nations, and SOS Children’s Villages International.

In 2017 and 2018, Benedicta served as a ONE Champion, representing Nigeria and Africa at the ONE Youth Summit in Brussels, where her presentation earned a standing ovation from the then ONE.org CEO Gayle Smith.
