Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s approach to nutrition emphasizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle and a diet focused on excellent nutrition as key factors for both health and wellbeing. He recommends a nutritarian diet which is rich in both micronutrients and macronutrients and warns against sugary and processed foods as these can strip the body of essential nutrients and lead to serious diseases. Additionally, he encourages the consumption of G BOMBS – greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries, and seeds – as a powerful way to extend human lifespan and combat cancer as it can reduce the risk of breast cancer by 71%. To achieve success, he stresses the importance of having passion, focus, and support while being educated and informed regarding food addiction.
