Most people don't hear of the dramatic effects a ketogenic lifestyle provides to your microbiome, you gut health. 

I came to Keto through my personal research back in 2012 looking for something to help my own gut health crisis of UC and crohns. I was curious if the 'butyrate' that was produced in ketosis was similar to the butyrate that is the 'prefered fuel' for the large intestine or if it would at least have similar effects. On the face of it that sounds negative. Not at all. I view low carb (nutritional keto) as a requirement for health yet over 50 percent of people who seek professional medical guidance for implementing this specific way of dietary life DO NOT perceive  any benefit. No weight loss, no metal clarity, nada. 

Therefore, having know this for the last 4 years I've been wondering, investigation why that is. How are the 50 percent that experienced no benefit different and what needs to happen in order for 'Keto' transform their lives.

Uric acid is a vital,  yet to many insignificant, lab to have done... specially if you are on keto or con It can reveal the degree you are inclined to soon be intense pain with a gout attack, the degree you are inclined to become or are Bi-polar, the degree you are or inclined to become diabetic or pre-diabetic.

In short you need to know what this lab is, how to use it, and what it may reveal for yourself.
This is NOT only about purines. The story goes Deeper.

Let's be real blunt here: Can eating liver kill you.  Is it Toxic???
Seriously, that is the view today among nutritional counselors and dieticians.
