September 21, 2021A House Divided
Sully’s been working hard to cover the mortgage they took out on the homestead after Michaela had to burn everything in her clinic. Times are tight, however, and Sully is having problems making payments on time. Brian writes to Sully’s old friend, Daniel, who comes to Colorado Springs to help get them back on their feet. While he’s there, Sully is both upset that he is trying to help them financially and Daniel falls in love with Michaela. What a loaded episode! We explore questions like:
Is Sully too prideful in declining the money from Daniel for work that he legitimately did?
How did Micheala claim to bring in money from her practice in “Money Trouble,” but in this episode she is broke and just starting to charge patients?
Is the family right to harbor a grudge against Preston for doing his job?
Is it possible that Daniel has a pattern of falling in love with Sully’s women and that’s why they have been separated for years?
Join Kelly and Mark as they explore this action-packed and tense episode!

DOROTHY WRITES A TELL ALL BOOK!
Dorothy is ecstatic to receive the first shipment of her recently published book. While the townsfolk eagerly purchase copies, nearly everyone is upset at the personal stuff that Dorothy shared. Soon, Dorothy finds herself in conflict with almost everyone, including Micheala, and she thinks about quitting writing. In this episode we explore questions like:
Who is right to be upset-Dorothy or the town?
Is it even reasonable to consider that this book would be the smash hit they claim it is?
Does the town forgive Dorothy too quickly?
Join Kelly and Mark as they explore this fun (but sometimes fury-inducing) episode!

A lawyer and his wife move to Colorado Springs. Their baby is ill and they seek medical attention only to be surprised that the town’s doctor is a woman. After the baby dies, Dr. Mike is blamed for causing the baby’s death through negligence after she chose to treat the infant with Cheyenne remedies.
In this episode, we explore questions like
Is Michaela too pushy with the grieving mother right after the baby dies?
And does she drag it on too long at the end instead of simply accepting the apology?
Is bringing Cloud Dancing into the courtroom to testify a good idea?
Even without her license, why can’t Michaela be around to help Andrew while he performs surgery instead of Dorothy?
Join Kelly and Mark as they discuss this tragic and action packed episode!

In this conflict-laden episode, we continue to explore Sully’s character and discuss questions like:
Where is Sully keeping all these suits?
Does Sully complain too much about filing paperwork considering how much he is being paid?
Is this one of Loren’s more ethically reprehensible episodes?
