For this third episode, I had the chance to talk to Justin O’Heir, co-founder and CTO of ArtGate VR, a social virtual reality platform for gallery and museum exhibitions to exhibit in the metaverse. Art Gate VR is one of the first museums (or platforms) in VR where galleries can host events, curate exhibitions, promote artists, meet collectors, and in general do business.

For this second episode, I had the chance to talk to three-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and VR creator Limbert Fabian who discusses about the making of his groundbreaking, socially and politically committed virtual reality documentary piece MLK: Now is the Time, and how he brilliantly translated Dr. Martin Luther King’s most famous speech that still resonates for its relevance into embodied interactions and spatial metaphors. The experience won the Audience Award at the SXSW Festival in 2023.

I had the chance to talk to the award-winning VR creator, media artist, scholar and educator David Han about his hands-on impression on VR creation and his perspective on the industry. His creative practices explores the intersection of media art, emerging technology, and computation.
