I'm sure you're familiar with the expectation that we all "love thy neighbor" but have you ever really thought about what that means. It's not just the people who live near you, it's anyone who is in your general vicinity. How good are you at loving your neighbor? How about when you're in your vehicle and interacting with neighboring drivers? You know how I love a good driving analogy and there's plenty of that in this episode. Something happened in my personal life which led me to discussing this topic with you all. Get all the details herein.

This is one of my favorite interviews to date. I took my opportunity to talk to Cara about some personal parenting challenges I have been having and her advice is pure GOLD! The best part is, the information doesn't just apply to my situation, but to all parents. Cara talks about how you can go from a "because I said so" parent, to a parent who models healthy relationship development through collaborative parenting. Cara is a wealth of information and she freely offers her insights and wisdom. This is a must listen for anyone who engages with little humans.
Cara is the host of the "Transforming the Toddler Years" podcast. Check out this episode where I was her guest:

It might seem strange to you when you hear me say that I think the world would be a better place without forgiveness in it. I promise you, my perspective comes from a place of positivity and the insights and encouragements herein are presented in a way to support social improvements. This episode was inspired by a friend of mine who gave me an apology out of the blue. I got to thinking about the topic of "forgiveness" and whether I consider it to be a benefit to us as human beings. We learn in childhood when forgiveness is appropriate and warranted. I believe that we were misguided. This foundation is extremely flawed and disempowering and I explain why and how we can go about turning it around.

What is it that you resonate with? Resonance is that powerful feeling of knowing something to be true. In this episode I discuss how that experience of resonance is how you know when you're in alignment with your life's purpose. I talk a lot about "alignment" on the podcast but not everyone knows what I mean by spiritual alignment. The feeling of resonance is exactly what I'm talking about. Our emotions guide us through life and when we get that overwhelmingly good feeling which "resonance" provides, that's how we know we are on track with something meaningful to us in this lifetime.

Do you have a fear of bugs? Most people are not fans and if they are, they are labeled as "weird". I used to despise bugs until something happened which changed my life and how I interact with spiders and insects forever. I guess I fall into the "weird" category now but you've got to listen to understand how this change drastically improved my state of mental health well-being. In this episode I discuss entomophobia (fear of insects) specifically but I also touch on other well-known phobias, the mainstream mental health position on them, and what I believe to be the only real cause behind all phobic fears. If you have accepted a phobia to be part of who you are, maybe it's time to think about things a bit differently and squash that label once and for all!

Most of us get around by driving a vehicle so there is a lot to relate to in this episode. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by people's driving behaviors. If it's possible for a person's personality to change ever, I believe it happens when people are behind the wheel. My own driving behaviors and habits have changed a lot since I took my first solo drive at age 16. I finally feel like I have it figured out and I'm sharing what works for me, with all of you.
