For our 12th Episode we invited Cam Dupere, guitarist for Begat the Nephilim, to come and hang with us to discuss their summer tour with Deicide, Kataklysm, and Internal Bleeding! As well as the upcoming release of their sophomore album \m/

Beer of choice comes from Toppling Goliath Brewery, courtesy of Mikey's Tavour shipment. 

Sadly Boru couldn't make this one, but we did him proud and kept it metal.

This show the Bastards talk about Mikey's new job, Camping (Bear Defense), Poison Ivy (What not to do), and Loki.  Beer is from Backyard Brewery out of Manchester, NH.   

Summer is here, and I have to run the AC in the room where we record.  For our Summer Episodes, you will notice a backtrack of 80's synth beats (Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio) to cover up the noise from the air conditioner.

It's good to be back!  For Episode 7 we will be throwing back some tasty offerings from Mighty Squirrel Brewing out of Waltham, Ma! Format for this episode : First Beer = WandaVision (Spoilers, up to episode 8), Second Beer= Music review, Third Beer= Wrap it up.  This episode felt really good and we liked the pacing and the chance to change the subject, we hope you agree.

For our 6th Episode we deviate from our comfort zone of Sci-Fi/Fantasy and attempt to review our personal 2020 experiences.  Not our most exciting episode to be sure, but it has its moments...much like 2020.  Fortunately the beer from Navigation Brewing was amazing and got us through this mess.  Careful with their Winter Warmer, it's a creeper!!

This episode was originally going to be attached to Episode 4 as a part 2, but there was enough material to warrant its own slot.  Mostly about the Season finale of Mandalorian Season 2.  *SPOILERS*

Mikey got us some amazing Imperial Ales and stouts from Tavour for just this occasion!  Rejoice Star Wars fans, even the Bastards shed a tear..

We recorded this episode one week before the season finale of Mandalorian Season 2 with the intention of releasing it before the final Mando episode.  Life got in the way and I was unable to edit it in time.  In a way I'm glad it worked out this way, because had we waited till after the Season Finale we would have only talked about that episode.  It's actually kind of cool to hear us talk about what we liked so far and make lame predictions as to what the future holds for the series, and also unknowingly make an accurate prediction for the finale!

 The three beers from Kelsen Brewing  , out of Derry, NH, made for easy conversation and were an absolutely delicious! 

For our third episode we check out 3 beers from Barewolf Brewing out of Amesbury, Ma.  Game of Thrones is a massive universe, but we try our best to fast travel to all our favorite theories, scenes, and chapters of the saga.  There is a fair amount of the "Airing of Grievances", so much so that we had to open a bottle of whiskey...  We also discuss the upcoming Game of Thrones prequal "House of the Dragon". 

Moving forward I think in future episodes we will be narrowing our topics down quite a bit, as tackling huge concepts in one episode is damn near impossible.  Thanks for sticking with us as we figure out this podcast journey and enjoy the show!
