⚪️ Annie Depressant (she her) is one of the co winners of BNDS season 2, and was the first afab contestant and winner. She’s also a former Miss Boise Pride. And she is now performing in Seattle! She’s always used her platform to uplift others and bring joy to many! She’s a bubble gum princess pill everyone’s dying to swallow! Annie grew up going to catholic school and while she never felt free to be herself until later in life because of the church she met her best friend and fellow Boise queen Hazel. After some painful experiences from the school/church and the loss of her father she left the church when she graduated. She still uses a lot of references and iconography from her previous faith but now sits somewhere between agnostic and a sprinkle of paganism. At the end of the day inner peace as being kind to others is what she values most.

I am Jazmyn J (she/they), originally from the Philippines and moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and been living in Coeur d’Alene since 2019. I started performing in drag in December 2019 after watching an amateur Halloween drag show in Spokane, WA. I was so inspired by this group of talented and creative drag performers. When then Covid pandemic happened, it didn’t stop me from improving my craft and skills, especially makeup. I became more active on Social Media (TikTok, IG, FB, etc) to reach a wider audience and to entertain, educate, and inspire everyone. I perform live mostly in the inland Pacific Northwest area (including Central & Eastern WA, Panhandle area of Idaho). I hope to continue being one of the most in-demand drag performers in Idaho. #ProtectDrag

Faeryl Sweet as a performer is a mixed bag of fever dream manic pixie dream thing, and nerd culture. Raised in the Mormon church in a small, primarily Christian town in Treasure Valley. They've experienced a myriad of flavors when it comes to prejudice and misconceptions, as well as a compulsory-heterosexual marriage, coming out to themself (and others), divorce and many other things on their journey to where they sit now spiritually: features of gnosticism and agnosticism alike, a dash of that Christian upbringing, and a healthy dose of paganism and witchcraft.

Angel, AKA Linda Summers is a gay and queer drag performer in San Francisco who embraces beauty, glamour and principles. As a former Disciple of Christ, Linda now uses her platform to spread the message of love, empowerment and resurrection through the art of drag. Being a first generation Guatemalan means showing her family that drag is valid and nothing to be ashamed of.

PANELIST :

Sue Trowtower is a drag Queen from San Francisco. She performs regularly at the Monster Show, and also for The Mascara Show - SF’s sobriety-focused drag show that benefits the Castro Country Club. She is Miss Castro Country Club XII and loves to support organizations like the SF Ducal Court and uses drag to help raise money for local LGBTQ+ non-profits.

PANELIST : Imani is originally from Virginia where her came to be. Her original name was Imani Dominique St. James. It started her in her career of drag performing and having fun. When the alcohol and drugs specifically crystal meth got added into the mix all the fun stopped. When she decided to change her life and accept the gift of recovery she also changed her name to Imani Recoverai which means Faith in Recovery. Now as the reigning Miss Serenity 2021, Imani shares the joy she lives at every opportunity in the sober community because now she really lives life to the fullest. This is her second time in recovery and her recovery date is November 1, 2016. For That She Is Grateful!

LOTUS BOY (He/Him, Ze/Zir, They/Them) is a shapeshifting, transgender and nonbinary, unapologetically disabled, Chinese-American drag king and anti-disciplinary artist based in occupied Lisjan Ohlone Land (Oakland, CA). He explores gender fluidity, accessibility, spirituality, and healing from trauma, through the mediums of poetry, lipsync, ancestral movement (qigong and tai chi), monologue, and original music. Zir work uplifts issues regarding ableism, anti-Asian racism, transphobia, and sustainability, often incorporating humor as a vessel of universal connection. With every performance, they aims to help the audience learn—or unlearn—something about themselves and the world around them.
