Brisbane-based drag artist with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair, Helen Wheels, joined Rach and Dean on JOY Breakfast to talk about her experience advocating for better accessibility across bars, clubs, performance venues and other safe spaces.

This is not just a Brisbane based issue either, it’s something we need to focus on across the board.

Helen also produces Ability (The Show), representing incredible artists with disabilities all over Australia and continues to push to make LGBTQI+ performance art in Australia more inclusive to people with disabilities.
