Brinne and Glarric are running as fast as they can to help their friends and they come up on the scene and throw themselves into the fight. Glarric climbs up into one of the wagons and meets Slick Forrester, a trapped Tabaxi. Stabbi makes her away around the caravan to free all that she can. Ome and Ximau are scaring all that they can in their dragon costume. The battle ensues. Stabbi attacks a wolf and frees another cage full of little Tibbitts.  Ximau uses a very strange weapon in battle. Ome is learning how to use her new wings in the midst of it all. Brinne and Glarric work together to free Slick from her cage. Slappi does its best to help Stabbi free more catfolk and Ome has had enough and calls on everything she has and seems to turn the tables. Stabbi hears a familiar voice. What could that mean?

Stabbi faces off with the Tibbits while the rest of the group rides up from collecting the gold reward. They work out a plan with the Tibbits to find the slave traders. At a fork in the road, the group splits up, the tibbits going right and our adventurers stay to the left, heading North to the shipping routes. Stabbi is sent closer to see what the caravan is doing and she sees a circle of wagons. She goes up to one, pulls back the canvas and before she can begin to understand what's going on, a chase ensues. Ome discovers the last gift her mother left her and joins the fight with Ximau. Brinne uses her magic to create as much chaos as possible while one of the Tibbits brings worse news. Ome and Ximau enter the caravan in a way unknown to either of them up until this time. The battle begins.

 After a cliffhanger for Stabbi and Glarric, Ximau, Brinne and Ome are on their way to town to collect the gold promised for the return of their friends, though their friends are in bits and pieces.

They reach the temple, but there's not a lot of trust to go around. As Brinne and Ximau try to heal that trust, Ome stays in the temple and learns some disturbing news from home.

They replenish their stores and go to find their horses so that they may try and help Stabbi and Glarric in whatever trouble they have found.

Our adventurers are doing what they can to get out of the caves and back to the surface with their things and whatever bodies that they decide to take with them. They finally find a secret passage that leads out through puddles and darkness and they find the door. They stop to discuss what to do, where to go, who to go with. Is it time to break up our group? Stabbi is ready to run off on her own to save the catfolk that have been kidnapped and enslaved. She can't wait any longer. The reward hangs over everyone else's heads. Are they ready to give up all that gold?

Glarric agrees to go with Stabbi and then tries to make amends, as if he believes he won't make it through this adventure.

Getting the bodies and getting their gold is the most important thing to the others and they devise a plan and promise to find each other. They go their separate ways.

As Stabbi and Glarric get closer to where they need to save the catfolk, they discover Abram as a look out in a tree. Slappi is terrified and shivers and as Stabbi tries to calm it down she grabs Glarric and runs for cover.

Will she be fast enough to get them away?

Where does the soul go when the body dies? Glarric is very close to finding out. He gets one too many hits and begins that journey but then is sent back with a message. He comes back from death to startle our adventurers with white hair and glowing skin.

Glarric then turns his attention to Kastrillson and goes for the kill. Kastrillson tries to suck out Glarric's soul but get a bad taste in his mouth.  Ome watches his black aura rip get ripped from him and shatters.

Glarric kills the one that almost succeeded in killing him.

Ximau is sent to look for something by Vee. He begins to dig in the mountain of dirt and 3 feet deep finds pouch that has a small object. Seeing it he tells the tale of Vee, created in war where worlds collided.

As our group argues over the returning of the zombies to their people, Ome figures out how to finally get rid of all the flies.

 The battle rages on. Our adventurers are hitting Kastrillson with everything they can think of. A hit here, an arrow there, but there are still flies and zombies to contend with.

Kastrillson starts fighting with a desperation now as more and more damage keeps coming his way.

Though covered under his blanket, Glarric doesn't back down. Stabbi runs at Kastrillson's wings, slashing claws out. He screams in pain, acid pours out of him.

Brinne attacks the zombies in her wolf form, and then goes after Kastrillson.

Ximau doesn't connect but Ome throws everything she's got at him.

They are battle weary, but they are not giving up.

As our adventurers try to make sense of the chaos in front of them, Ome sees an energy, a black aura around Kastrillson. She unleashes her Spiritual weapon on him, and they watch him spread his wings and fly up above them.  As they try and contain the Zombies, the new horror that has grown from the grub that the flies are leaving behind has made an appearance.

Our group is pushing farther and farther into the melee trying to stop this Dragonborn with everything they've got. Even Glarric gains enough confidence to come out of hiding and do what he can with his hideous laughter and cutting words.

He then tries to hide again but finds out that he can't get away from Karillson's heavy gaze and hatred.

Karillson is hit once, twice, burned and has sand kicked in his face, but nothing seems to be working.

What will become of our adventurers as it flies up once again and prepares for another hit.

Our adventurers must now create ways to enter a room so full of flies that they are having a hard time breathing without getting them up their noses while they try to assess the new threats in this room.

They discover that Zombies don't like to stay dead in the water and things start to get serious.

They throw everything they got at the Zombies while the flies keep them at a definite disadvantage, and then when they are frustrated and hurt and covered in flies, a Dragonborn shows up making things even scarier than they had seen, and they struggle to help one of their own survive.
