DrainTalk is my superchill pinball show focusing on the competitive pinball scene in Norway, good company and beer. Through this vidcast I will be talking about the Norwegian pinball scene, talking to players, tournament organizers and what makes this hobby so important for us all, and also following my own pinball adventures as I travel around.
In this eight episode just before travelling to participate in the IFPA17 pinball world championships, I give a status on 2022 so far in pinball norway, the current state of my Age of Empires 2 homebrew and finally beer tasting is back! Tom-Andre joins me in experiencing a unique french honey beer and then we discuss the rankings and tournaments in norway from january til april. We also talk about maximizing TGP and other tournament related topics.

In this 6th episode but first Audio-Only episode of DrainTalk I talk about the XMAS Matchplay Open tournament weekend I organized with my buddy Tom last weekend, 3-5 december, in Oslo, Norway. After having to postpone the 2020 event due to covid, we managed to organize it this year and I talk about the progress from planning to completion, our visions and thoughts behind the the tournament, the formats and the choices we made. I go through the days of the tournament and reviewing the 4 tournaments we held during this weekend, with some hindsight and results.

In this third episode I take a look at IFPA reopening the ranking system from 1st August 2021, discussing what this means and also talking about the norwegian rankings as they are in July. I also reveal my pinball homebrew project which I have been working on since February and show some photos and videos of the development. This second episode is a personal recollection of my travels to Austria and Austria Pinball Open from 2016-2019 together with my mate Tom, and how life changed during those visits with Sandras passing.
