Drained 

It means feeling extremely tired — physically, emotionally, or both.  When you’re drained, you feel like your energy is gone — as if someone unplugged you.

Examples:

1- She smiled at her students, but inside, she was emotionally drained — going through a divorce while still showing up to teach every day.

2- He said he was fine, but I could see it — the way he stared out the window, silent, barely blinking. That kind of stillness… it’s the kind you only see when someone is drained.
