Seems there’s a bit to talk about in regards to Iran this week, so Steve and EJ got together at Maplewood’s taproom to have a very foreign policy heavy episode. Don’t worry though, the election circus rolls on, and we merged in the Chicago segment this week due to lack of non-weed news.

For the final podcast OF THE DECADE, Steve and EJ headed to Empirical’s Tap Room on Ravenswood to talk briefly about the latest national news and then look back at what a crazy year 2019 was.

This week EJ and Steve gathered at a little house party to watch the debates. Afterwards we recorded, talking about how the debate went and, of course, the third successful impeachment of a President in US history.

This week Steve and EJ are broadcasting from quarantine as there’s illness circulating through both their households. Even if one of us substitutes NyQuil for a lager, there’s plenty of politics to talk about this week!

This week EJ and Steve met up at the Hopewell tap room in Logan Square to talk about the judiciary committee hearings. We also celebrate the rare occasion where the week ended with less Democratic Presidential candidates than it started with.

Since we last recorded, the city of Chicago budget was completed. It didn’t have the overwhelming support that was typical of mayors past, so we talk about that as we drink a few beers at the Revolution Brewing Tap Room.
