John talks about training under the iconic Frank Thomas, one of Disney's original "Nine Old Men" at Disney Studios and how incredible that experience was. Valerie Sofranko has had a rich career working on some of the most iconic films in Hollywood. Her career allowed her to utilize her fine arts backgrouds and apply it puppet builds, matte paintings, latex suits...you name it! It all started with a chance encounter with Lucas films and a little white lie to the receptionist!
Watch all the way through because at one point Valerie shows of a legit crystal skull from one of the Gremlins from the Gremlins movie for which she was in charge of maint6aining the Gizmo puppet, among other things!
