WHAT’S IN YOUR GO BAG?

EPISODE 209: Airdate 09/28/2020

We discuss some realizations we had when we were faced with evacuating....how prepared we thought we were, versus how prepared we actually were, we examine the emergency items in our go-bags, and the challenges of evacuating with pets.

When it became clear that the county alert systems were not functioning, we discussed the alternate avenues of current information that we found that helped us make sure we stayed safe.

THE FIRE

EPISODE 208: AIRDATE 09/21/2020

Southern Oregon was hit very hard by fire this month, and we experienced much devastation and loss to our community. We talk in depth to two of our friends, our previous guest Ryan who lost his home last week, and Airin who lost her home a few years ago. They talk about those harrowing moments, and the realization of loss, but they also share the positives, the comforts, and the hope that they found throughout. We are incredibly proud to bring this episode to you, because we admire the resiliency and big hearts that our friends have, and feel very privileged to be able to share their experiences.
