Everything that we believe and do is influenced by our education.  Educational institutes are more than just a place for academics to learn the fundamentals of reading and writing, as well as business and economics. Today, the education industry faces many challenges. The betterment of the education system requires some major efforts.

Our history has changed tremendously but our education system still remains the same, which is kind of obsolete.  Each child has their own passions and are expressed in their own unique ways to help the world.  However, the children are taught in a box and are required to conform to the standards.  What happens to the children?  They are faced with anxiety of not meeting the expectations of their parents.  That's the reason why there are so many cases of suicides, mental depression and feeling disengaged event the smart children.

What can we do as adults to help our children?  Listen to Dr Shauli Mukherjee, a passional educationalist and a global thought leader focusing on setting up and leading new age for K-12 schools. To move past trauma, you must begin to shift your belief from a victim mindset into a creator mindset.  The difference is that a victim believes things happen to them and they have no control over their future.  A creator believes that they have the power to turn their mess into their message and move past it, creating a new outcome for themselves.  Although you may have been a victim in the incident, you do not need to continue to choose to remain a victim by living in the victim mindset.

When you are living in a victim state of mind you are not taking responsibility for your life or your emotions, you are blaming others for the way you are & feel sorry for yourself. When you are living in a creator state of mind you are stepping up to take the necessary responsibilities and actions to improve your life.

Have you been rejected in life? Facing rejection can be hard. It can make you sad, hurt, or angry. Rejection actually really hurts. There’s no way around it. Any kind of rejection, in your life love, career, friends, or anything else, is not something that should not affect your happiness in life. We all experience rejection in our life and at that time we feel alone, ashamed and unwanted.

We often get turned down in our life. These failures are a part of our life. But still, it hurt and makes us feel bad about ourselves. 

Do you think rejection is good for us?  So how do people deal with it?  Getting rejected is not the end of the world and actually, it helps us in the long run to become better individuals.  I've heard people say that "Rejection is nothing more than a necessary step in the pursuit of success."

Let us listen to Precious Carter's life story.  She was born at a prison and from that time on, she already felt that rejection.  She was moved from one home to another, was a black sheep in the family and felt she didn't fit.  No one would accept her.  She experienced a lot of challenges since childhood, and this made her take that uncomfortable action to change her life.  What did she do to make that change and now a successful entrepreneur, speaker, coach and author?   

Love - it is the one thing we can all agree on.  Everyone wants to be loved.  But the question is, "Do you love yourself?  Are you worthy of love?"

Most of you know that I am all about love. I believe in the power of self-love first because without loving yourself first completely, how do you have the capacity to love anyone? It is just not possible.  After going through so many pains with the betrayal and traumatic experience you've had with the people you loved most, it might take time to fully understand what love really is.

To achieve self-love, you need to remind yourself to release the anger and focus on the positive again.

Due to all the negativity that’s around us, we can easily fall back into anger again. Next thing you know you are grumpy and complaining about everyone and everything. When love is present, you are being reminded to reboot and get back into the positive. Forgive yourself for getting angry and start over.

Stop the blame, stop the judging, listen and show compassion. Open your mind and your heart. Forgive, start a clean slate with the people within your family. You will discover later on that the love you are sharing to your family members will extend to the people you meet daily.  Can you now see the impact of this to the people you meet?

What would you do if your spouse cheated on you?  Will you give him that second chance?  

When someone who's hurt you wants to come back into your life, deciding what to do next isn't easy. Should you give them a second chance or not? If you still have feelings for them, giving it, another go may seem worth it. Sometimes people will make the most out of a second chance and end up staying together. Others won't take another chance because they are afraid that it might not turn out the way you want.  

Everyone's situation is different, and some people can make a second chance at love work. More often than not, people go back to exes for all the wrong reasons. I find the idea isn't rooted in well-adjusted behavior and awareness; rather, it's rooted in fear and loneliness.

But if your genuine intention is to improve yourself and willing to work for real change, and see a future with one another, then why not?

The statement "love finds you when you stop looking".  Is this true?  

"I craved deep connection. I wanted to feel loved."  

I know a lot of us have experienced a traumatic experience during our childhood years which includes not experiencing real love.  That is the reason why a lot are craving for the love that they want because they have not experienced this with their family members, spouses, boyfriends, classmates who won't include you in their circle of friends, and even the society because of your race.  This then impacted how you see yourself.  You feel inferior, not motivated to build deeper and meaningful relationships, unable to find the job that can give you more stability, bullied, unappreciated and being rejected.  

I am sure a lot of negative thoughts will just run through your mind.  When you believe nobody truly loves you, you feel alone, unloved and unwanted.  When you allow yourself to dwell on those feelings, you feel even worse about yourself and your life.

Listen to Ayana Miller, from Trinidad and Tobago, who struggled with this but reached a point in her life to make the decision to stand up and fix herself.  She was at her rock bottom wherein she cried and cried a lot and had no one to share her emotions to anyone.  She just kept it to herself.
