Bryan Bakel started Red Dirt Roots in 2017. They are a sustainable farm that is pesticide and chemical free. They start all their produce from seed and this year is the first year they produced their own compost and soil themselves and they’re working towards being fully self sustaining…including Bryan’s dream of not going to the grocery store.

HJ Gilman is 14 years old and is part of Wrist World as a game developer. HJ does 3D modeling and animation. HJ will be going into the 9th grade this fall and has been doing wrisworld for 3 years now!

This week's episode is with Adoh Doherty. When Adoh was 11 years old his Dad hung the Olympic rings over his bed so they would be the first thing he saw when he woke up and the last thing he saw when he went to sleep. Becoming an Olympian has been a dream that Adoh has had for as long as he can remember. He was blessed with success early on in his High School track career, where he learned discipline and stamina. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he competed on their track and cross country teams. He is currently a USA triathlete at JP Elite where he dedicates all of his time and energy to the sport he loves.

FGF Microgreens started in October of 2020. Disappointed in the produce that was present at the onset of the pandemic at the grocery store, John Hass began his search for growing nutritious produce for himself. He found microgreens and found that they were actually more nutrition stored in a small package than the full grown counterpart, that was also quicker and easier to grow.

Annabelle Abbott is 11 years old, and just completed her 5th grade year at Washington Elementary School. She will be heading to Irving Middle School in the fall. Annabelle loves swimming, reading and making bracelets. She started her bracelet business, Be Happy Beads, after getting a bracelet making kit for her birthday.

This week's episode is with Haley Curfman. Haley is a second grade teacher in Blackwell, Oklahoma also known as the Weary Teacher. You might remember her (or at least her dress) from social media which went viral! She’s been teaching for 5 years and coming up with inventive and creative ways to engage her students and to keep both teaching and learning fun.

Jason is inspired daily by his wife and their daughter. In his free time, Jason likes to hike, camp, hunt, fish, and play golf.

Bella, is 14 years old and will be going into the 9th grade this upcoming school year! With Real Kitchen, Bella does a little bit of everything that includes marketing, manufacturing, sales, and leaves the finances for other members of the team. Her favorite thing to do is sales because she loves talking and interacting with the customers that are buying the Real Kitchen product!.
